Not needed for some reason? BTW, have immediatly installed one of you liveries.... Soaking this up. Logged a bit over 500 hrs in the TDv2. God bless Robert. Hope he is hanging in there! June 27, 20241 yr I have no flown all the updated Dukes. The piston models now have realistic engine behaviour above critical altitude. Great! Pleasure to use. Issues I will test further : GPS NAV mode coupling has been, well, awful in NON TERM sections of flight. Much zig zagging means without heading mode I cannot fly a straight course. Using TDS GTN750xi so will test steam guages to see if it can hold a VOR route later. Turbine model power completely messed up last night. Broken in fact. Flight LSZS to LOWI nighttime flight calm weather. 5500 take off alt. Engine overstress warnings on take off roll. Reduced power, couldn't rotate, increased to get airborne. At 1000 radar checked engine condition was 90%. Instant repair. Climbing through 15000 broken. Struggled to climb at 1000 until 13000 with stall horn sounding all the time. At 13k 500 feet all I could manage. At 15k decided to level off rather than stall and engines suddenly surged to provide double power from 15 to 23. I could climb at 1500 fpm now at 90 knots! Very poor but at least usable. At 23k could only manage 500 fpm until cruise 29k that I finally reached just before TOD. Will do another flight tonight to see if this was a one off. At moment the turbine for me is more broken than the pistons were before. This plane SHOULD climb at 4000fpm EASILY up to 15k and 2000 easy after until mid 20s then 1000 easy until cruise. WITHOUT damaging the engine. It should do this without maxing out controls comfortably. Something is wrong.. Here's hoping it was a random Su15 bug or something. Can't use the plane in this state.
