LOL 🤣🤣 Con la fe intacta (with unwavering faith), literally. The problem is that Argentina has the Pope. And well, he outranks any nun😝

Do not be pessimistic. Spain are not unbeatable.

😁

and just noticed I had missed the "p" in Spain ...

Great Game - two Great Teams !!!

Flying gliders since 1980

Flightsimming since 1992

AMD Ryzen 5600x, 32GB RAM, GPU Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB, 1 TB and 500 GB nvme2 SSD drives, HP 27" 60Hz LED monitor @ 1920x1080, T16000, Hotas from old X52 Pro, Saitek Combat Rudder Pro (2010 model)

Well, disappointment for England as had happened in the oval ball game for South Africa on Saturday.

Intel i7 6700K @4.3. 32gb Gskill 3200 RAM. Z170x Gigabyte m/b. 28" LG HD monitor. Win 10 Home. 500g Samsung 960 as Windows home. 1 Gb Mushkin SSD for P3D. GTX 1080 8gb.

Hopefully, Southgate will bow out now or we will be talking about another wasted generation of talent in the future again. And get the best manager not just English, England can afford it.

What we need is a manager with an attacking style. In my opinion, the philosophy should be "if the other team scores goals, then we will score more". To be honest, we could even have won the game last night if Pickford hadn't wasted goal kick after goal kick by booting it up the field. He basically gave the ball to Spain every time, and then we had to go on the defensive again. It was a ludicrous tactic, and it makes me wonder what on Earth the England management team had been smoking before the match.

We tried that before, twice, and it didn't work.

Do you think it probably doesn't help in regard to the number of games they play in a season? They must be psychologically as well as physically depleted.

Someone once said of the England team… “lions in autumn, lambs in spring.”

There’s no doubt the Premier League is a tiring competition. No winter break either this season and 8 CL matches instead of 6 won’t help either.

Spain were worthy winners but England got very close to taking it to extra time with Spain clearing headers off the line near the end.

Back to our clubs now with friendlies starting soon before it all kicks off again next month preceded by the Charity Shield with Man City v Man Utd. Hopefully they’ll kick lumps out of each other. 😁

The player of the tournament is a Premier League player, playing for Spain

Don`t worry the FA will appoint someone who`s won nothing important as long as he`s English.

I wouldn’t be so sure of that. And we’ve tried foreign coaches before but they didn’t succeed with Capello being far worse than Sven. Who would you propose?

Pep he knows English Players, The FA have said they have an interim plan which could mean they will wait. Possibly till the end of the year.

Absolutely no chance of him. He’s expressed an interest in Brazil, never England.

Pep Guardiola lives in Manchester with he`s family. Based in England and having more time with his family may suit him. His CV is second to none, knows international player better than anyone. And coaches attacking football.

Southgate had his favourites and no matter how bad they played he still played them.

Send me the contract, and I will sign it for him.
