Oh boy, something broke....

Featured Replies

Nothing changed, I just hooked up the Tobii eye tracker that's been in storage. Now, 3rd party planes won't load into flight. The sim loads up just fine, I can select an airport/gate on the world map, but then when selecting fly, it'll load all the way to 100% (the percentage shows because of Stripr) but will not initiate the flight. I've tried all PMDG planes, the Fenix, and Black Square stuff, but the flight won't load. If I select a default plane, it appears to work just fine.

If anyone has a solution, I'd be very grateful.

This is happening to me too and I don't use Tobii at all.
Exactly the same thing. Thought it was a plane that bugged out, but I tried several that worked perfectly well and now they don't.

Nothing changed since it worked fine yesterday.

That did the trick. But simply unplugging it, flights still would not load. I had to disable Tobii in the actual Tobii manager as well.

This is unfortunate though, because I'd love to use it! Glad the sim still works though.

EDIT: Never mind, I spoke too soon. As soon as I tried to reload the flight "due to the PMDG yoke left bug," it went to 100% and wouldn't load into the flight again. Oh man, this isn't fun.

Suggestion: Save your Tobi profiles, and fully uninstall it.

Delete even the reg entries if you know how to do it.

That bug was fixed with the latest version of the 737.

You may like to try the free Revo Uninstaller it will remove every reference to Tobii works well in my experience.

Same problem.  I had one flight but the scenery was popping everywhere so I restarted it and same thing every time.  I kind of thought it was servers.  This I think is an Achilles heel of our hobby.

Not entirely - I've been on latest version since it was released and that bug bit me again just a couple days ago - and it was the 700 which was the only one I didn't have this problem with before the update. Reloaded aircraft from dev and loaded fine.

Yeah, it sure was. However, it just happened again to several people. Reloads didn't fix. Reinstallation didn't fix.

I swear. I used to love this hobby but some of us have very limited time to fly. This puts a damper on all of it. Thankfully my tracker still works lol

Well, selfishly I’m glad that it wasn’t anything I did wrong. 😬

Not if you load into another plane before the PMDG. You’d have to load into the PMDG first for that “fix” to work.

Well, since I fly the PMDG 737-600 exclusively, I guess that is why I am not encountering any issues
