FS2024, are you at all bracing for disappointed?

Actually I'm curious to test most of them in the career mode. I'm not a helicopter guy, but this time I want to fly them just because of the missions (cargo missions more specifically).

Also all in on day one. None of the major bugs/issues w/ MSFS2020 have ever been infuriating to me like they are to some, just minor annoyances. Big picture, I've loved every second of it and I expect

VERY interested to see waterborne operations, esp related to scooping "on the fly". And flying boats are just cool in general.

Canadair CL-415 fire fighting turboprop flying boat & Air Tractor AT-802 Fire Boss float plane

Airbus A400M -  A .72 Mach, multi-engine, glass cockpit, heavy tactical airlifter that can stop on a dime? Oh yeah!

Not only does it fly the Mach Loop in style,

you can even take it to the beach!

Erickson S-64 SkyCrane. The only thing that would've made me happier would've been an Mi-26 Halo (puny Bell 206 for scale!)

Fairchild Republic A-10 Thunderbolt, DC Designs. Great view, fully aerobatic, very easy to fly, and fast-ish. Unlike most USAF birds, not afraid to get it's wheels dirty, not overly worried about FOD:

Airship Industries SkyShip 600 Blimp. A literal air ship. Should be interesting.

de Havilland Canada DHC-6 Twin Otter, iniBuilds and Hans Hartmann - could be great now that it's out of AS's hands

Draco X bush plane. Because even tiny STOL airplanes deserve monster turboprop engines

Boeing 737 MAX 8, Asobo. Now I won't feel the need to buy one 😉

As a matter of fact...

Put it this way.  Safe to say you can be really, really surprised.

I agree. 100,000 copies per year makes at least some sense, but still seems rather low. Just adding up the number of employees and resultant payroll means it's got to be a robust annually recurring number. Not 15M, but millions, esp over 25 years? Yeah - I could see that.

A330-200 for me. There hasn't been a proper one done in flight sim. Hopefully Inibuilds do a good job with it, but that's the one plane I'm bracing myself to be disappointed with....

Oh yeahh, the A400 is high on my list

Aerosoft is involved somehow, the 2024 Twotter is the reason they pulled theirs from 2020 sale.

Their A320 Neo is excellent outside of a little high fuel usage, though it’s getting an update this month so maybe that will be fixed.

Will also be great for sight seeing.

Same, if the PMDG one releases first, I’ll wait and see how Asobo’s is before buying.

The A400M will have definitely a special place in my virtual hangar (if Ini does a good job of course). It will probably the first Mil Aircraft I will spend time on.

Indeed, the Mi-26 would be amazing. This thing can lift everything.

I'm extremely curious about the A400M myself, but whether I use it or not will depend on the level of simulation they'll give it. If it's on par with the new A320, it'll be a keeper. If not, well, not. Unless someone mods it to improve it.

My military transport needs will likely be well served by Milviz's C-130, so the A400M will have to be good to earn itself time.

I'm expecting the A310 level (a bit lower than the 320).

IndiaFoxtEcho has confirmed again on Facebook that they don’t plan on charging for any upgrades to 2024 unless for some reason the aircraft has to be completely rebuilt.

That'd be fine, I consider the 310 and 320 more or less on the same level.

The A400’s avionics are similar, UI wise at least, to the A350/80 so I wonder if ini will be sharing code between the two

They're already doing that with the 310/300 so I'd say that's a given.

Will the 310 get some of the 300 features?

Last MSFS Dev Q&A they said no, there are big differences between the two that don’t allow that. The A310 won’t ever be on par with the 300, but they plan on keep updating it either way

Thjs months avionics update will touch up the A310

That's what I remember them saying, but krakin said they were doing that for the 310/300, so I got confused. LOL
