Wow... an astronaut in a SpaceX suit now doing a spacewalk? Never seen before. I thought these suits weren't as airtight as the old, bulky NASA Apollo/Shuttle suits.

  • Actually..... The US suits have a SAFER system that uses nitrogen gas. If the tether breaks that can fart their way back to safety.   https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Simplified_Aid_For_EVA_R

  • Inside the ISS I would imagine. So the atmosphere inside the space station while they were in space. Or inside a stinky spacesuit, perhaps.

Launch delayed until tomorrow due to a helium leak.

They will spend quite a bit of time (deliberately) in the inner Van Allen Belt. But please don't tell the Moon landing deniers because they wont be happy. 😄

So many poets have waxed poetically about this mythical thing they named the moon. Which they say sometimes comes out at night and wanders about the night sky. They even say they have seen it!

Just going to run a Chromebook and not upgrade to a Windows computer. Too many problems with the new Sims! 😱

Hope not, Charlie. 4 people onboard. The intrepid astronauts will be doing the first commercial space walk. And basking in one of the Van Allen belts. They will be the furthest humans away from Earth since Apollo. Thus, I think this mission deserves more attention that the media are giving it.

May Kerbal Space Program be good enough? I learned about them here in the forums.

Yep, Friday now. They need good weather, both up and down.

You don't happen to know the UK launch time on Friday by any chance?
