PilotPlus

Featured Replies

Are PilotPlus still in business? I have not seen any news from them in quite some time regarding new products, I have not had a response to a couple of emails that I sent regarding EGMC Southend, and the last post on their Facebook page appears to be 11th May 2023.

Their social media is very quiet and it doesn't appear they have a Discord server so who knows. They also haven't been on Avsim since last year: https://www.avsim.com/profile/482260-pilot-plus/

I guess if someone has one of their products they could ask on their support ticketing system.

Their Product Road Map page is completely blank so I'm guessing they are on an extended holiday.

Nothing from me, just to say I visited their website last week as I wanted to know what the plans are for 2024 - I have all their airports with EGGD being my local.

Site feels dormant to me I'm afraid

New PC Ryzen 9850X3D - 32gb ddr5 6000Mhz - MSI MAG B850 Tomahawk wifi - Gigabyte wind force gaming OC 5090 - 2TB Sabrent NVMe. Old PC - Ryzen 5900x - 32gb 3600Mhz RAM - Asus Strix X570-F Motherboard - ASUS TUF OC RTX 3090 - 1TB Sabrent NVMe. AOC AGON 32" 144Hz - Honeycomb Yoke - Thrustmaster HOTAS Warthog. T Flight Rudder Pedals - Trackir.

I submitted a ticket to them last week-again, no response.

Another dev that's also gone radio-silent is Terrainy as I loved their Samos LGSM-asked if it would be MSFS 2024 compatible and again like PilotPlus, got no response.

I have Terrainy Studios LGSM Samos and LGIK Ikaria, and I would like to see more from them. I hope that they (and PilotPlus) are still active.

  • 1 month later...

I have EGGD too. Do you find AI traffic behaves ok? Mine disappear at the end of the runway? No response from their help desk for me either.

Let‘s assume they are out of business, is there a chance their airports still running on Msfs24? I would be very disappointent if I couldn‘t use their Bristol scenery anymore.

That is a good point. I have Biggin Hill and Oxford, and I was thinking about getting Bristol and Southend.

They had Cardiff in progress but maybe the recent MS one scunnered them and they've thrown in the towel?

Suggested to SoFly that they look into doing both Bristol and Southend for MSFS 2024 and 2020-it’s something that they will consider as part of future plans.

You never know. At times people get very burned out or simply make enough money to be able to afford to take a break.

The history of flight simulators is full of developers that seem to completely disappear for a couple of years and then they suddenly pop up.

There is nothing wrong with that, however not communicating with customers is worse practice ever. Even if they ceased operation, it would be appropiate just to leave a message on their facebook or website to let people know.

Well, yes and no.

I understand people may not like not to know what's up, but as far as I know, PilotPlus has released only quality scenery that doesn't have any outstanding issue. If they had left stuff broken, I'd understand the need for communication, but at times people just want to drop off the radar and enjoy some peace and quiet.

More than anything, I miss their quality, so I hope they're simply taking a break and will be back.
