October 1, 20241 yr Orbx for P3D6 (update) now in Orbx Central so go do your download. Best Regards, Vaughan Martell PP-ASEL KDTW
October 2, 20241 yr Ooo. Does this mean that all scenery and airports are actually compatible too? I don't have 6 yet but I'm keeping an eye on it. Russell Gough SE London

October 2, 20241 yr I couldn't find anything on the ORBX forums about this. Of course, the content is 90+% MSFS-related now, so sifting through all those posts is not easy, so I may have missed it. My ORBX Central does show P3Dv6 as a simulator choice now, but it's a moot point for me as I installed the v5 stuff and just pointed P3Dv6 to those libraries. I'm not sure that the v5 global range of scenery actually needs any changes to be compatible with v6, so one would think that it would be a very simple software update to make v6 installers. My guess is that P3D is such a low priority for ORBX that even something as simple as this is taking a lot of time. October 2, 20241 yr When I use the v6 dropdown, it only shows BASE Pack, VECTOR, and ObjectFlow under My Products. Makes me wonder if they are making products compatible gradually over time. Version: P3Dv5.4, P3Dv6 CPU: Core i7-13700K @ 5.5 GHz with HT on, GPU: RTX 3080 12GB, RAM: 32GB DDR-5, MONITOR: 32" 4K with G-Sync enabled, OS: Win10 22H2, Target Frame Rate: P3D 120, NCP Max Frame Rate 35.
October 2, 20241 yr Let’s hope they’re not stopping there. Nice of them considering no upgrade fee. Vic green
October 3, 20241 yr I installed the Global Base Pack and Vector into V6. There was little if any improvement in the scenery that I could see. Pete Locascio Intel Core Ultra 9 285K, Nvidia RTX 5090, Samsung 9100 Pro 2&4 TB Drives, 64 GB RAM, Asus Z-890 motherboard.

October 3, 20241 yr When you look at the e version number is the same as for V4+... It also installs Global base in the root and offers a migration option to outside the root.... Also it creates a P3D V6 folder inside the Library , so it adds an entry for V6 in your add-ons.cfg.... may eNd up with double scenery entries. Jorge Edited October 3, 20241 yr by aeronauta
October 12, 20241 yr I installed V6 Base Pack, Libraries and ObjectFlow. I'm really glad orbx made these available. Up until now, I never could get orbx products like HD Trees or HD Buildings working by pointing them to v5. Sometimes I got no autogen at all. I now have all orbx products working in V6. What really seems to have made these products compatible with V6 were the V6 libraries. October 12, 20241 yr In a way off topic but I stopped using v6 due to Flytampa textures being blurry and extremely dark cockpits in particular the 787 by QW. Has anyone gotten the QW VC to not be so dark? If this are migrating over to v6 I may have to shift to V6 from v5.4if ORBX is migrating everything over. system i9 10850K NVidia RTX3090 24GB Samsung SSD980 m.2 1TB (x2) Samsung 850 EVO 500GB SSD Seagate 2TB external drive Samsung SSD 840 EVO 250GB SSD Asus B460M-PLUS Mobo 32GB GSkill DDR4 3000mhz Ram using P3D v5.3

If so, you can change the minimum and maximum exposure settings in the P3D.cfg file. This is how I've managed to brighten several different VCs.
