Well geez, after figuring out the navdata and building several custom approaches into it, I opened the documentation folder on a whim (didn't figure I needed to read the manual for the work airplane!).  Their manual is pretty good... But also, there's a supplement that explains their navdata format and how to build procedures!

I don't think I've ever seen a sim dev actually include official documentation on that before.  Not only is their solution pretty elegant, they HELP YOU UNDERSTAND IT.  Kinda cool.

Thanks for pointing this out…I missed it in their docs. Surprisingly very easy to create custom procedures…I’ve already thrown together a couple RNAV visuals.

I would say basically nothing flat-out "doesn't work".  There are things that can be improved, but not really any more so than a lot of airplanes that have been out for years and are considered decent

  • **We are now releasing version 1.0.0.** This announcement replaces the previous one from a few days ago. The changelog is also replaced. First, we would like to thank everyone who has contributed

  • Another "take 80% of the item, pay 100% and then we'll see" product. Even if i wanted this (it's just another boring 737, so skip anyway) i wouldn't buy it. This is getting out of hand, now even

Sounds like the external iFly app isn't running (little orange guy in your system tray).  Exit the sim, force close anything iFly in the task manager, restart sim and see if it's running.  If not, start it manually and then start flight.  It should auto start but it's been a little buggy.

thanks - shall give it a try - so with this not running is it likely to have caused all 3 of my issues? (also a little bit confused about why you might need to activate mouse click - surely its on by default in msfs?)

I'm a bit hesitant on buying this add-on since reading a couple of customers on Discord stating that their card has been charged twice and did not get a confirmation email or had errors triggered after buying through the iFlyManagerSetup, can someone be so kind and let know if I'll be paying Flight1 or the developer directly through their manager app?. Anybody had this issues? Thx

I had zero issues and I also chose to use PayPal since I know they will be there to assist you should there be any issues.

Ah - no there is no setting to make Hps default - ou need to set the knob each time from In to Hpa, just like on the PMDG.

Ok, that's a bummer for all European users out there.

As for the PMDG, this isn't an issue since you can save a panel state which will remember the position of all knobs and switches once you've set them as you like them to be.

After this, you simply select your own panel state as the default/startup panel state. Meaning, each time you load the aircraft, all knobs and switches will be in the position you want them to be.

Does the plane have variables you can set in FSUIPC? Be nice to program a simple key to toggle A/T on/off or use a spare hardware button instead.

This is my question as well.  I currently have a 737 in MSFS  with a full working overhead, nav, comm, ATC, MCP, Dual EFIS, remote CDU's as well as my custom throttle quadrant and Brunner yoke so if I can't replicate that same interactive HW experience I have with the 737 in MSFS today the unfortunately as good as she may be I would have to pass.

I know of someone using spad.next with it so my guess is yes, but I don't know the details.

Yes, that will cause all the issues, to include being unable to click anything with the mouse.

As far as mouse clicks being on by default, they are.  The thing that gets people is with the default mouse behavior, many switches use a left or right mouse click depending on which way you're trying to operate the control.  This is similar to the old "PMDG mouse behavior".  On the PMDG in MSFS though, it's off by default and you have to specifically enable it.  On the iFly it's the opposite - on by default, and you have to turn it off if you want to.  Personally I prefer this behavior and so I like it as default, but personal preference.

TL;DR - if you aren't getting the behavior you want out of a switch with a left click, try a right click and/or scroll wheel.

All good with the mouse functioning. Thanks to all that assisted.

Funny but I just read a discussion on their discord about this.  Apparently these vars already exist and are used, but a comprehensive list hasn't appeared in the documentation yet, so folks are looking at the .xml file to read them.  Here's a list someone has posted of what they've got working..  it's not a comprehensive list, but in case it helps:

This is what I've used so far, all of these work, move the knobs and effect appropriately:

A/T Switch: LVAR:VC_Automatic_Flight_trigger_VAL - 1 On, 2 Off

Fuel Cutoff Switch Eng 1: LVAR:VC_Engine_APU_trigger_VAL - 12 On, 11 Off

Thanks for the reply man. I'll use a VISA debit card, hope all goes smoothly when I'm convinced to buy.

Allright, so no problems so far with ILS approaches. But into Edinburgh EGPH I can't tune the ILS frequency.
