I would say basically nothing flat-out "doesn't work".  There are things that can be improved, but not really any more so than a lot of airplanes that have been out for years and are considered decent

  • **We are now releasing version 1.0.0.** This announcement replaces the previous one from a few days ago. The changelog is also replaced. First, we would like to thank everyone who has contributed

  • Another "take 80% of the item, pay 100% and then we'll see" product. Even if i wanted this (it's just another boring 737, so skip anyway) i wouldn't buy it. This is getting out of hand, now even

Thanks guys. I decided to use the simbrief calculator (which is really good btw).

Maybe this has to do with the iFLY utility that should opens in a task, some went wrong with this, hope there will be an update soon.

Because this seems not realy working with the entry in the exe file what should open it if MSFS is starting.

So you have to open it manuel  with a double klick before starting MSFS..

cheers 😉

Someone recommended to use Flight1 manager and press button to make XML entry into MSFS so Ifly app will automatically when MSFS starts. I did it and now have no problem at any time

When doing the TO performance calculations - is derated TO set automatically? Or something that needs to be manually selected? In the screenshot below (bottom), what does D-TO mean? Is it TO or TO-1 in the FMC?

I'll try to make this one shorter.
ATM (reduced t.o. thrust is less than TO by selecting an assumed temperature higher than the actual ambient temperature. Derated takeoff thrust is obtained by selection of TO 1 or TO 2 in the EFB/TABLET.
We can use a combination of ATM and FIXED derate. First, we select fixed derate and, afterward, assumed temp.
Now, it is a bit complicated based on the "hierarchy", as we call it. You will have the following dependencies:

Unfortunately, it was not implemented as is missing INTEX LIST.

I'm liking this aircraft more and more! Today I've done various non-precision approaches; RNAV, VOR, NDB. The aircraft handles incredibly well.

Is it still in pre-release?

I think so, at least to a new update - another flight today and to say this AC is just a bomer in all respects, allready love it more than PMDG 737 stuff.

Did you ever seen such a detail in engines ?

I love such details and without any loss of performance..

Without a doubt but this is on of the best Aircraft i ever bought..

I think I might agree. I mean, the PMDG 777 is excellent, and I also very much enjoy the 737-600. I've probably flown the Fenix A320 the most in 2020. But I might have found a new favourite. I guess it comes down to which aircraft are most enjoyable to fly. As much as I do enjoy the Fenix, I probably enjoy flying Boeing aircraft even more.

And after 5 flights or so, I do enjoy the MAX a bit more than the PMDG NG series. Better visuals, better sounds, and definitely the same level of system depth and flight model. Just my 5 cents anyway.

I bought it yesterday and I fly in VR (Meta quest 3 headset) all I am doing at the moment is test flights around Seattle, it is incredible, been  flightsimming since 1998 I have all the other high fidelity aircraft too but I think this one beats them all, it just feels sooooooo dam good, for me especially on take off, completely different feeling to pmdg's 737. It was also nice to reopen my Flight1 account, I used to by all sorts from them back in the day! Love it!!

Based on previous platforms—FSX, P3D, and MSFS2020—the issue is as follows. We had a few excellent developers like Level-D 767, Mad Dog, Fenix, and Aerowinx 747, who pride themselves on developing their products, fixing, upgrading, and having excellent flight dynamics and a respectful approach towards the customer.
Unfortunately, PMDG's customer service and relations were not strong from the beginning, resulting in less desirable outcomes. The 737 and 777 flight characteristics on any platform are also weak points. More pronounced issues are still related to LNAV, and some glitches exist with VNAV, AP, and FD despite the new adjustments to the 777 in MSFS2020.
Towards the end of the P3D era, the quality of their products and quality control started to decline, and competition showed a positive outcome.
The sad part, IMHO, is that their decline is attributed to jumping to new products and not fixing or adjusting existing airplanes. It's not that they can't do it; they are occupied/blinded by profits and getting away from their known quality with less work. Very unfortunate.

There was a time when they could afford such hubris. Their Md11 is still so good systems wise I fire up the creeky old fsx to enjoy it every week or so. Their peak for me was the 747_400 qots2 and - 8 expansion. The EFB in the - 8 puts the abysmal effort in the msfs 737 to shame. Ahead of its time.
