I expressed concern before release about its single engine behavior on the ground and by extension, in flight, based on what I'd seen in streams.  Did a little streaming myself tonight, and I will cheerfully eat my words.

Great to see someone recognise that things are better than how they first seemed. Though, I don't like the engine spool time.

Thanks for the video.

Quick Q, why didn't you increase thrust to 100%+ N1 on the remaining engine to increase speed and eventually climb rate? It seemed a very sketchy departure while engine #2 was held around only 84% N1.

I would say basically nothing flat-out "doesn't work".  There are things that can be improved, but not really any more so than a lot of airplanes that have been out for years and are considered decent

  • **We are now releasing version 1.0.0.** This announcement replaces the previous one from a few days ago. The changelog is also replaced. First, we would like to thank everyone who has contributed

  • Another "take 80% of the item, pay 100% and then we'll see" product. Even if i wanted this (it's just another boring 737, so skip anyway) i wouldn't buy it. This is getting out of hand, now even

I think I'm a believer on this one.

If you have time, please check these settings.
I am mainly looking for input re the tiller and rudder

For some unknown reason, I couldn't get the HUD working and after I did, I ran out of data at the hotel internet allocation. I'm unfamiliar with this HUD, but all should work more or less the same with slight variations. Anyhow, it needs some work for sure, IMHO.
I noticed something strange, and I think (from what I remember) flaps 25 for landing should not trigger "too low flaps" unless there is an aircraft specific that I don't know.
Thank you.

Ok, they're in navdata-stars-[apt id].app.  Looks text based; might even be easier to modify than the sqllite stuff.

I see it now. What's the "heading" for the RF legs supposed to represent? I assume it is supposed to be equal to the heading of the next fix?

I'm trying to find a MobiFlight profile for the Max (to use with my MiniFCU unit). In @Stearmandriver's video, it seemed he was using hardware to interact with the MCP.

Even if i wanted this (it's just another boring 737, so skip anyway) i wouldn't buy it. This is getting out of hand, now even iFly adheres to these weird methods of making money. Why? Because MSFS is getting its own MAX? Because PMDG will eventually release theirs?

Who cares, we're getting yet again an unfinished product and paying full price for it. TFDi is doing the same, there's not even a P&W engine out yet!

Sad times.

I agree with your assessment. The majority of developers are money-hungry and release buggy software. This is not a good trend.
In this particular case, this 737 is way better in many aspects compared to others that launched the product in August 2022 with so many bugs, yet they are still not fixed.

I am just on my first flight with AP modus, guys, all i can say it is a beautiful done Aircraft with no performance hit on my high system PC..

The EFB is a bit tricky but at some time doeing around with it you get on it - i already love that bird !! 😍

I did some manual flight test with no flightplan loaded, there i saw some anomalies with setting the ALT and level that set ALT corectly, so some small thing needs some updates but doeing the flight with a flightplan AP on VNAV and LNAV set is just nice and the setted ALT was captured here fine, and by the way i like the sounds, great stuff !!

cheers 😉

Are they actively receiving and remediating bug reports/inaccuracies?  Is their intention to fix these issues before it goes to a full release version?

I'm getting "invalid route 1 uplink" when I try to request FLT PLAN in the FMC

EDIT: Solved. I entered my username instead of the pilot ID in the EFB.

I was able to transfer flight plan from simbried but can't figure our out how to transfer fuel and payload? Is there a way or I have to enter manually?

Did you figure this out?

EDIT: It seems to be "read MSFS data" in the EFB"

I just downloaded and installed the iFly app and set it up without issue.  I have now just installed the aircraft and now browsing at the amazing assortment of liveries that come with it created by the some of the best artist in the business.  I used to paint back in the FS98-FSX days and was fairly talented back then but I can't do it now.  No way I can hold water against these guys.  In fact I completely forgot how to do it.  Nice to see lots of repaints!

I am getting Fenix vibes already with this product and that is a very good thing.

Now the real test is firing up the sim and seeing how it looks.  Sadly real life commitments make is so my first flight will have to be later this evening.  Probably Alaska Airlines since that is what I downloaded.  Maybe SEA-SAN type flight!

So, how does this all work? How does MSFS get the data? From the CDU route request?

After I finally got everything dialed in and successfully installed liveries.  This thing as a pre release is better than the PMDG 737-700 was day 1.  I still have an issue with the path being too long for the liveries, even after several fix attempts.  But luckily you can just find the flight1 download folder and manually install them or get them off flightsim.to.

There is a Manager update out today that hopes to fix this.
