I installed. I can get into cockpit but none of the switches are moving. EFB is not present at the load. Trying to reinstall again

Are you sure the iFly plugin (the one with the orange icon) is running in the background?

I would say basically nothing flat-out "doesn't work".  There are things that can be improved, but not really any more so than a lot of airplanes that have been out for years and are considered decent

  • **We are now releasing version 1.0.0.** This announcement replaces the previous one from a few days ago. The changelog is also replaced. First, we would like to thank everyone who has contributed

  • Another "take 80% of the item, pay 100% and then we'll see" product. Even if i wanted this (it's just another boring 737, so skip anyway) i wouldn't buy it. This is getting out of hand, now even

Yes I saw it in a tray. But I am reinstalling it again.

Also I can't install any of liveries. I'm getting an error:

I had to do a full PC restart after installing to clear that error.

Also… if you shut down MSFS make sure the plugin is closed as well before relaunching MSFS. (normally only a potential issue if you opted out of the xml entry during setup)

Your critique is based on this being the only 737MAX option or are there are others available that this one excels at with a comparison?

Your reasoning seems quite flawed!

There is the Bredok 737 Max. And from what I understand, there is a version in XP where the author borrowed the Zibo code without permission and the project was abandoned, but copies of it are still available for download. There is also the P3D version of the iFly 737 Max, but the textures in MSFS look way better.

Nothing I said is inaccurate. Maybe your reasoning is flawed as usual.

i5-12400, RTX 3060 Ti, 32 GB RAM

I bought it too - I was concerned with the performance but zero hit to performance - Nice and steady as well as easy on CPU too. Ifly have done fantastic job with it.

Flight1? I haven't used them for years.  I may still have an account there since i purchased a lot of FSX and P3D products years ago.

I believe the OP is referring to MSFS2020 not another software platform.

I downloaded liveries to different folder, and copied fine to community folder. But others give an error to particular *.json file. I think file name is too long.

A few initial thoughts as I climb out of EGPH heading to CYHZ as WestJet 45.

- purchase and install were without issue.  I read about others having purchasing issues so perhaps I missed the initial server hit when it went live.

- It looks, sounds and flies amazing.

- EFB is deep but a bit clunky.  Doing basic things like setting the payload and fuel are not as intuitive as others (is Fenix and PMDG).  Not a show stopper, but these basic functions you’ll use every flight should be streamlined / less buried IMHO.  This reminds me of the ifly 737 for FSX, it was missing some QOL features compared to the competition.

- it lacks an auto time compression system.  It seems to work ok on 2x compression set manually, 4x causes some vibrations.  Something for me to play with as I cross the Atlantic.

- Sound of the lav flushing is too quiet 😂.  It is flushable though.

All in all, first impressions are good, especially considering this is an early release.

EDIT: at 2x compression it’s hunting for the magenta line a bit, seems to be able to hold it though.  It’s too bad time compression doesn’t work a bit better, given the longer missions this aircraft can fly.

Current System (Running at 4k): ASUS ROG STRIX X670E-F, Ryzen 7800X3D, RTX 5090, 55" Samsung Q80T, 64GB DDR5 6000 RAM, EVGA CLC 280mm AIO Cooler, Brunner CLS-E NG Yoke, Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS & Stick, Thrustmaster TCA Quadrant & Add-on, VirtualFly Ruddo+, TQ6+ and Yoko+, GoFlight MCP-PRO and EFIS, Skalarki FCU and MCDU

EFB is deep forest. When loaded Ifly default livery I could set up units. Now I reloaded and loaded UA livery. I can't find EFB page where  I can set unit anymore!

While awaiting for an full solution via the iFly manager…

Can you first make sure to delete the folders for the repaints that were corrupted by the iFly manager from the community folder?
Afterwards try to manually unzip the livery folder from the iFly downloads to the community folder…

Download my repaints at AVSIM.
