I’m seeing a little conflicting info. A lot of posts are raving about the product whilst another claims vertical speed and level change doesn’t work.

If I bought this product now, what currently doesn’t work? Is there a list of stuff anywhere?

Thanks

This is why I refuse to purchase this half-baked nonsense. There is plenty wrong with it but if anyone complains, either the dev team or people who’ve already purchased it will say “it’s prerelease” as their excuse for anything and everything wrong it. That’s fine but yet they charge $70 for it. Ya, not down with that business model. This is pure money grab before 11/19. I guess they realized the full release is still far off so they did this. I’m not paying for this prerelease beta software word not allowed. I will buy it when my $70 pays for the full release.

I would say basically nothing flat-out "doesn't work".  There are things that can be improved, but not really any more so than a lot of airplanes that have been out for years and are considered decent

  • **We are now releasing version 1.0.0.** This announcement replaces the previous one from a few days ago. The changelog is also replaced. First, we would like to thank everyone who has contributed

  • Another "take 80% of the item, pay 100% and then we'll see" product. Even if i wanted this (it's just another boring 737, so skip anyway) i wouldn't buy it. This is getting out of hand, now even

Just to clarify one point raised earlier: this is not the same version streamers got a week ago. It is the v2.5 that streamers got on Friday, so it was a 3-day old build.

The first time I loaded it up it ran well but then I had to start again to start at KDEN Gate 35 [there are 3 gate 35s which one a,b or c?] I chose A35 but now nothing works none of the wheels or switches work and I always get a cold and dark cockpit but as I said everything is dead. Tried reinstalling but nothing.

I hope someone can help. I tried their dreadful discord thing but did not even get in.

help please?

Kind Regards

Richard

Reloading the aircraft gives me the same problem. Restarting the sim and manually end-tasking (via task manager) the ifly program resolved this. I’m sure there’ll be a fix for this soon.

You remind me a guy from that joke. When they ask him has he heard how Pavarotti singing? He replied - yes  but I didn't like it. So they ask: how come? Did you go to his concert? And the guy replied "no my, neighbor imitated his singing and it was sucks" LOL

I expressed concern before release about its single engine behavior on the ground and by extension, in flight, based on what I'd seen in streams.  Did a little streaming myself tonight, and I will cheerfully eat my words.

This product looks really good. Seems like the developers really care about getting things right. The list of excellent developers steadily grows for this sim.

Yes, I'm glad iFly has found their niche with this aircraft in MSFS2020.  They always played second fiddle to PMDG.  From what I'm seeing, it's not going to take too much to get them over the line to match (or beat) the PMDG historical  benchmarks of quality and user preference.

PMDG could use some competition imo.

I can't seem to find the answer to this question:  Does the iFly 737 Max simulate the MCAS system and does it have failures related to MCAS.  I am interested to see how this works in the sim when there is a failure and then following the proper procedures to correct.

Mark   CYYZ

iFly doees not simulate MCAS at this time.

Failures related to MCAS have become a non-issue on the MAX as any malfunction gets mitigated by disabling the MCAS function altogether.
