I've been using a 2nd display for some time. Do you like minimizing the window while flying? The great thing about having Simbrief in another window/monitor is being able to load weather radar etc in Simbrief and not have to minimize the window or reduce its size and have it obstruct your cockpit view to just look at these things. When in Simbrief on your account you then export the plan into Charts and it automatically opens a tab for that. Again i dont have to open, close. minimize windows etc. So doesnt really interest me. I also park SLC's various windows on it as well as LNM and so super useful to not have any of that on the main display. The only real downside is when you're using Frame Generation you get image judder upon moving focus back to the main display, so for my usage this is nearly constant, going back and forth frequently in any case. I don't use FG so it's a non-issue here. Haven't seen any, and I can tell you I was looking out for something for several minutes. Another solution for dealing with this is to get into the flight at a desired parking spot and open Simbrief Dispatch from the toolbar and plan the flight from there. It works. ESC is sometimes the go back button I'm really sorry. That was not my intention. Hitting the ESC key returns you to the main MSFS interface and when you click again over the World Map section, the Simbrief interface is still there. Maybe it works for others, but not for me, as Navigraph itself gave this same advice on their forums. Maybe it was not present in the release version, but I updated the App today and there's a CLOSE button there, as you said. Hope you resolve your issue.

I think something was maybe changed in the most recent version downloaded today. There's (now for me) a CLOSE button located at the bottom left corner in the World Map. November 8, 20241 yr Author I've had some more time with this - and still think it's a gamechanger. Many of us are seasoned flight simmers - and, I think, we would agree that is has been, and still is, quite a 'techie' business to get everything to work with everything else. Yes - there is nothing in this app that can't be done in other ways. But I suppose I'm talking about accessibility. Accessibility for the huge number of folks out there who are passionate about aircraft and passionate about flight sims...but struggle with (and have no interest in) linking multiple programs together and make them work. Because some of that is REALLY complicated to the average user. This is, as someone above has already said, a really slick integration. And, for the average user, it makes the whole flight plan process in MSFS much more comprehensive without being less accessible. Oh - and as a fairly competent and experienced simmer - I have, at last, got a flight plan into MSFS where the Pilot2ATC air traffic controller hasn't thrown a wobbly and tried to get me to fly 180 degrees in the opposite direction 😀 Ryzen 7 9800x3D @5.2GHz; ASUS X670-P Motherboard; nVidia 4080 (factory o/c); 32G 5600MHz DDR5 SDRAM; Pimax Crystal Light VR Headset; Quest 3 VR Headset
