I can’t think why they would but it is an interesting thought. That's been up there since pre-order opened and I think someone would have noticed the oversight and removed it, or included the phrase in other editions. People in these forums have speculated that MSFS2020 started to become dumbed down when Xbox compatibility happened. I'm wondering if the Xbox console users can buy any version of the new MSFS2024 or if they're locked into the Standard Edition. Or looking from a different direction, should PC users avoid the Standard Edition because it's the Xbox version with its known limitations? Maybe this will become evident once MSFS2024 releases but for me it's another reason to wait. -J 13700KF | RTX 4090 @ 1440 | 64GB DDR5 | 2 x 1TB SSDs | 1TB M.2 NVMe

You can install it thousand time. after all you own that license. if that helps 🙂 Edited November 14, 20241 yr by DAD Phil Leaven i5 10600KF, 32 GB 3200 RAM, ASUS 4070 12GB EVO, Asus ROG Z490-H, 2 WD Black NVME for each Win11 (500GB) and MSFS (1TB), Rolling Cache 16GB, Photogrammetry always OFF, Live Weather and Live Traffic always ON, Res 2560x1440 on 27"
November 14, 20241 yr I wanted the standard edition, but could get the Premium Deluxe version from CDKeys for €89. So decided to go for that one instead 🙂

I haven't redeemed the code yet, so I could just cancel it and buy it from cdkeys? Would that work well?

If you are going to fly this sim for the next four years, does $50 matter? Bert

No, it doesn't I was just tempted to buy the aviator edition instead since otherwise it's just too expensive. I just did some research CDkeys seems to be grey zone, so it's fine the online shop I bought it from is authorized. I really can't wait having the new sim finally on my pc.
November 16, 20241 yr I have used cdkeys many times in the past as well with no problem. I don't know what the legality is though. It has always been trustworthy for me. Windows 11 Pro, Intel Ultra 270K at 5.7 GHz, Asus RTX 5070TI,48 GB ddr5 Trident Z 8000mhz CLK 40, 4TB M.2 x 1, 2TB nvme
November 16, 20241 yr You'll be able to buy the aircraft individually after launch. We don't know about the airports. so if you're on the fence maybe wait until the prices are known.
