November 14, 20241 yr As someone already said: it's all about setting your expectations right. FS2020 wasn't perfect out of the box. But do I wish they had waited for all the issues to be ironed out before releasing it? No darn way. I've had a great time from the start. And this time it's even easier: if there are too many bugs on Nov 19th, I'll just go back to FS2020 for the time being.

Maybe other people can confirm P3D v6, but I remember seeing a thread one day in the P3D forum here at Avsim that it was suddenly released. On the P3D side and from my previous experience at Orbx, LM have always been very proactive with getting a beta to developers early on to work with. This has been the case with all versions of P3D.
November 14, 20241 yr Is this the right time to ask once again for a forum split between 2020 and 2024? It’s going to be a real pain trying to find all of the 2020 related posts in between the noise of initial 2024 frustration and troubleshooting.

Don't even bother asking, its like a 0% chance happening at this point anyways.

It's up to the OP to simply tag them as "MSFS2024", as was stated a few months ago with the moderators (Bob Scott in particular). It's easy enough and clear enough, it just looks like some people have been forgetting lately as MSFS has been taking over a bit. Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind). November 14, 20241 yr Fair enough. I think long term it's the right decision. It's just going to be a pain the first year or so.

It's alright Redge - I am sure we will all cope. After all, we are flight simmers and used to complex situations. I mean, I can nearly get the ATR into hotel mode now.
