You edited you post for clarity but I am still not clear.

One of CSS members sells sim market certificates to poor russian flightsimmers to bypass sanction, another one named SVOdispatcher which i hope means UUEE, not Special Military Operation

  • Oh, these are the people with the subscription plane. Subscriptions are the bane of modern society and I hope their idea crashes and burns, so no one retries that idiotic idea.

  • I read "subscription" and instantly started scratching myself with allergies. No thanks.

Wait what? I too am surprised this hasn’t been talked to on Avsim. Its an aircraft with a subscription. Like you pay monthly for it? To access the plane.  Wheres the good ol-fashioned A

guarantee a lifetime purchase

It's something to think about...what is the life cycle of a flight sim aircraft add-on?

FWIW, I do not support subscription software...yes, I do reluctantly have Navigraph, but, as a principle, if there are other options, I will always favour the ownership option.

Back in the day, I loved flying the PIC737. Don't see myself getting this one...that price point just doesn't make sense if you consider $120 over the life cycle of the sim it's designed for...particularly for a developer that is "unproven" for cross-platform upgrades.

It's highly rumored that the next Fenix project will be the 737 Classics.  Something about one of team members working at Fenix was working on a Classic before joining Fenix.  All very unconfirmed.  If this is the case I will just wait for the Fenix model.

I don't mind many subscription models but flight simulator aircraft is not one of them!

Same here.
You can try it for a month only costing $5. If you don't like it, $5 wasted.
If you like it, you can determine if it is worth $120/$50py to you. If not, still only $5 wasted.

Kinda wish this was a more adopted model.

I understand hostility to subscriptions, but you can buy the plane for $120.

Meanwhile, I have $80 sunk into two addons that have never really come together, several others languish on my hard drive because they weren't very good.

I'd much have preferred to have spent $25 or $30 in rental fees than $250ish in addons I'm never gonna fly.

@everyone  Dear Captains, hello there!

There has been no news from our team for a long time. But believe me, we've been working hard all this time. And in this message, I would like to share with you our progress.

Right now, a team of beta testers is checking the correctness of the aircraft's systems. Programmers are working on the EFB. Artists improve the textures of the cockpit and cabin. The best (in our humble opinion) <@439382506303651841>  and <@177117466005209088>  livery artists are already working on a basic livery package.

Our Launcher, payment system, and technical support are also undergoing testing.

We are working with Navigraph to integrate our product with their ecosystem.

I have no doubt that we will soon announce a release date.

Thank you for your patience and stay tuned!

Then some images as well

sub (Navigraph) surprise surprise the market now has free options.

Did I read this right that the market now has free options to Navigraph?

Hardware: i7-8700k, GTX 1070-ti, 32GB ram, NVMe/SSD drives with lots of free space.
Software: latest Windows 10 Pro, P3Dv4.5+, FSX Steam, and lots of addons (100+ mostly Orbx stuff).

I would be okay with $120 if it was a study level model and included the 300-500 with winglet and non winglet models and all the trimmings.  All the cockpit and engine options common on the Classics would also be a bonus.

Not really interested in any sort of subcription model.  That is okay for some things but not flight simulator aircraft.  I guess it could work if you had a large and trustworthy development team. You pay a monthly subscription cost and get access to everything they are working on.  It would have to be a very trustworthy developer and they would have to be pumping out models pretty consistently.

I stand by my earlier suggestion - make the sub count towards the full price.

In other words I can try it for a month for $5 or keep paying and own it fully in 24 months. The idea is that if it’s good enough to be part of my sim for two years then I feel like I got $120 of value out of it. Everyone wins this way.

Keep in mind these are lower res jpgs (for media purposes) but they do look quite good.  It'll be interesting to see the feature list for the 120 USD pricetag.  Since they said for the "lifetime" you'd get all the variants it could a reasonable price.

The 5 bucks is somewhat fair as well - someone just tries it for a month and decides "meh its not for me" then you only wasted 5.  I'd avoid admitting how many planes I've hangered over the years after 1 flight lol!

Only in 2024.  Since this aircraft is coming out first for 2020 its no doubt it will support NG.  That being said, CSS may have to follow suit for a 24 release with inclusion of default lido data.  Seems like ini is doing it for 2024 as well.

According to this: "Just for context, for $120 you get the -500 on release, afterwhich you will receive the -400, -300 and -400SF variants. On top of that you will also get both the analog and digital avionics suites that came with the classic lineup"

Thats not too bad in this case, IF: the quality is there and the Devs provide updates/support.

At least we can celebrate it ain't a new Airbus!

Yeah that is not a bad deal in my opinion.  I have not seen it mentioned but hopefully they do winglet and non winglet versions (300 and 500) as well.  Basically a complete legacy 737 Classic pack.

I guess the only real gamble is if they never actually come out with the 300 and 400 versions.  That is not an unheard of event in our hobby unfortunately.  Because of this I will definitely see how well this plane tracks and get lots of community feedback.  However if it ends up being a great model I will jump on it fairly quickly.  Sort of like the IFly 737-8 MAX.  Within a few days I picked it up as well!

Speaking of the IFly Max its about the only thing that is making me not like it 100% (more like 98%) is the fact they have yet to announce other variants like the 9 and eventually the 7 and 10.  Logic would dictate that they eventually will announce it but it would sure be nice hearing it from the horses mouth.  The 737 is one of those airplanes you really need all variants in your hanger.

Yes, indeed, 5 bucks option is really cool. Try it for one month. Whcih is far enough to define yourself if the airplane worth 120$.

For me it will be day one whole package purchase. Have been waiting for this for almost decade!
