November 20, 20241 yr So then finally everything is up and running.. Let's start a flight. There it is the BANDWIDTH error. Speedtest says 1010 Mbps…!!!! 2020 all over again. Cloud gaming is the future they say… I wish it wasn’t First topic is already alive https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/bandwidth-to-low-19-november-2024/664973 I am afraid that if you want to play MSFS 2024 it will always be a surprise if you can really play the game MSI Tomahawk Z790, I7-13700K, DDR5 6000mhz, MSI 4090, 3x SSD 980 PRO, Corsair 360 Liguid CPU cooler, Corsair H1200V2 power.
November 20, 20241 yr I was afraid it would be like this, therefore I will wait to buy MFSF2024. System: I ASRock X670E | AMD 7800X3D | 64Gb DDR5 6000 | RTX 4090 | 2TB NVMe | Seasonic Vertex 1000W I LG Ultra Gear 34 UW I

Speedtest doesn't say anything about your connection the 2024 servers, in general it only refers to the max speed you can get to your provider, not further down the road. Win11 Pro 64-bit, Ryzen 5800X3D, Corsair H115i, Gigabyte X570S UD, EVGA 3080Ti XC3 Ultra 12GB, 64 GB DDR4 G.Skill 3600. Yes I know. But the problem is not my internet connection. So the message YOUR bandwidth is to low is not correct. It’s the response\connection issue form the servers which are hosting the data for MSFS2024 to load in. MSI Tomahawk Z790, I7-13700K, DDR5 6000mhz, MSI 4090, 3x SSD 980 PRO, Corsair 360 Liguid CPU cooler, Corsair H1200V2 power.
November 20, 20241 yr Same problem here. Worked early this morning. I9-14900K, Gigabyte B760 Aorus Elite AX, RTX 4080, 32 ram.1 tb nvme M.2 SSD, MSFS 2020 on 2 tb nvme m.2 SSD
November 20, 20241 yr I had it briefly with 2020 just about 20mins ago, hoping they aren't messing with 2020 to help 2024.... Ryzen 5 3600 / RTX 2070 8GB / 2x8 RAM/

First there was the slow install, then the waiting queue and this morning the low bandwidth error. I know these servers are being hammered but I'm afraid the traffic won't be that much lower at the coming weekend, or the weekends after that. Perhaps their strategy is to offer an additional subscription service for those who want to skip the queue... Did my first flight today... 4 crashes to desktop while trying to set the flight up, just froze at certain portions during plane selection, flight plan import, etc. and crashed. Finally after the 5th try, I was able to get it up and going. The flight itself was very good. Terrain, clouds, lighting affects all seemed noticeably better. One thing that stood out was the turbulance effect. It is much more realistic than the predecessor. I like what I see. Once they get the bugs ironed out, this will be a very nice sim I think. Oh... and my GPU was maxed quite a bit. 98%-99% much of the time. (GTX 4080)
November 20, 20241 yr I'm having the same low bandwidth issues when pressing the fly tab, that's as far as I can get. Maybe they should drop the "Y" from YOUR so it reads OUR to get people with a +1GB/s connection feel a bit better? What exactly is you’ point. Nothing to do about feeling better with a fast connection. Weird comment MSI Tomahawk Z790, I7-13700K, DDR5 6000mhz, MSI 4090, 3x SSD 980 PRO, Corsair 360 Liguid CPU cooler, Corsair H1200V2 power.

I agree, 'our' would certainly be a better choice of word right now, when this is so obviously an issue they are having. They should certainly make it clearer on whether it's a user or client issue when there are issues like this.
November 21, 20241 yr Well the good news is with how bad this game( used to call it a sim) is right now it won’t be long before their is plenty of bandwidth left for the very few users who have not successfully been able to get a refund. If they are destroying 2020 to help 2024 that is unforgivable and will likely kill any further releases of this franchise because who will ever trust MSFS in the future? Not me.
