November 24, 20241 yr Sure there are lot of little annoying things but it as for default it is was very close to PMDG or ifly. ifly 737 max especially is very fresh in my memory so it was easy to figure out how setup the flight. Max flew rock solid KSFO-KSNA no major issues. Little overshoot here and there but nothing that PMDG wouldn't done. I also discovered that my copilot actually move lips when talk to ATC LOL I tried to use PilotLife2 with Beta FSUPC but unfortunately PL2 only detected MSFS2024 but couldn't detect beginning of the flight or track the flight Life time flight sim enthusiast, current airplane owner 172P (past C182F). November 24, 20241 yr Moderator Did you have any problems with the Generators? I've only tried the MAX twice so far, but both times I couldn't get my avionics to power up. Using the APU instead made no difference. I9-13900K, RTX 4090, DR5-6000MHZ, CORSAIR ICUE H150I ELITE, ASUS PRIME Z790-P, THERMALTAKE TOUGHPOWER GF3 1350W, WIN 11

Haven’t tried it myself, yet but good to hear it has promise. I have been flying the 172 until I log 100 hrs in logbook, then will do the same in a piston twin, before moving to corporate jets and then airliners, single aisle then twin aisle. Just a little personal challenge to make the logbook look like some natural progression.

No problem with generators, but they were barely lit so it was hard to tell if the available or not. One thing I don't like about Asobo MAX is sounds. iflyMax got it just right. I hope they will fix it soon. Life time flight sim enthusiast, current airplane owner 172P (past C182F). November 24, 20241 yr The MCP font is not even close. Looks like an Airbus lol. Have they at least put the correct displays on the correct screens yet? It was beyond hilarious that they showcased this thing in that state in an effort to convince people that default aircraft would be high fidelity 😂. Andrew Crowley

It looks to me similar to iFly. Is iFly wrong as well? Life time flight sim enthusiast, current airplane owner 172P (past C182F). November 24, 20241 yr No, looks like they've got it correct now. When they released the promotional material showcasing the Max and touting it as the highest fidelity default aircraft ever, they had the FOs PFD and ND reversed 😂. Guess someone finally looked at a picture of a real airplane lol. Andrew Crowley
November 24, 20241 yr Tried it yesterday. I thought it handflied awkwardly, and certainly not comparable to the iFly. Tried different sensitivity settings. Several times the aircraft went into an insane bank angle on LNAV and would have stalled if I didn't turn AP off. Other issues as well, not impressed. 7950X3D | RTX 4090 | 64GB DDR5
November 24, 20241 yr I was blinded by the crazy bright displays. I'll try it one day can't be bothered putting my yoke back on my desk yet enjoying all the airbuses in MSFS24.
November 24, 20241 yr I am finding the standard of these default aircraft is amazing compared to 2020, and other sims. So far the A330, AM 400, Chinook and Max are way up there. Yes there's some bugs, but again, given time and updates some will become top tier. November 24, 20241 yr how does the GPU work ? I tried a C&D with the 737 Max and I can’t engage the external power supply (GPU). Explanations: I remove the covers and leave the shims (normal), I enter the cockpit, I activate the batteries, I ask the ATC for the GPU, the ATC sends it, the GPU arrives and connects but in the cockpit on the overhead panel the GRD PWR does not light up and does not activate when I switch to ON. Do you have a solution? Thanks in advance.
