I was blinded by the crazy bright displays.  I'll try it one day can't be bothered putting my yoke back on my desk yet enjoying all the airbuses in MSFS24.

Flew ok, but agree, the bright displays were unreadable, even in close up.

  • No problem with generators, but they were barely lit so it was hard to tell if the available or not. One thing I don't like about Asobo MAX is sounds. iflyMax got it just right. I hope they will fix i

  • I am finding the standard of these default aircraft is amazing compared to 2020, and other sims. So far the A330, AM 400, Chinook and Max are way up there. Yes there's some bugs, but again, given time

I see your PFD is super bright...is there still the strange issue/bug where they get very bright in the clouds?  That happens on a few aircraft in 2020. I have only managed a C&D start and pushback so far in the 20204 MAX....

No PFD is alright this is HDR . When it's on screenshot come out "bleached"

Actually displays were OK. I adjusted lighting inside cockpit to my liking . I should have mention that screenshot come up like this because HDR is turned on . It doesn't like like that when I look at it

With the Asobo/WT 737 Max and iniBuilds A330 and both being this good out of the gate, and likely to get even better with future updates I might just stick with and not worry about payware versions of these birds. Well except if Fenix makes an A330 🙂

In the iFly MAX you won´t get this style and luxury:

If you fly with the Asobo-737-MAX you fly with style! The first developer EVER finally bringing one of these beyond awesome BBJ-private-jets that look like a high-tech luxury mansion to life, instead of making another and another and another (and another and another and another and another casual standard passenger version.)

Awesome!! Where else can you get one of these hot Airbus and Boing private jet versions? I hope a team like Salty Simulations or FlyByWire completely overhaul the systems to bring this masterpiece of a 737 to Fenix cockpit system level. 🙂

Why does the interior of the AC matters? When I am flying the plane, I really don't care what's behind me or if it looks pretty. I'm more interested in the systems working properly. Not eye candy of the interior....

They seem to default to being way too bright. Once adjusted in the aircraft the were quite normal.

Well, PMDG has both the BBJ1 & 2 included with their -700 and -800, including BBJ specific equipment options.

IIRC, one of the LVFR 'buses has a biz jet model, too.

But I'm with you: when I'm flying Asobo's MAX, I'm flying the BBJ.

Because the BBJ isn't just a cabin remodel.

Yep. I'm feeling like I won't be buying any payware for quite awhile. The breadth of good quality add-ons in v2024 is MASSIVE.

Not just airliners, but GA, bush planes, GOOD seaplanes & flying boats, not one but TWO military heavy airlifters, and not just a pair of simple "VFR" helos, but a spread from the still very nice Cabri basic trainer all the way up to the mighty 'Hook and the highly sophisticated off-shore capable H225 Super Puma.

And I ponied up for the Aviators edition, where the add-ons generally aren't as sophisticated as the new Defaults, but many of which are quite interesting to learn to operate in any case.

And by the time I get bored of all those, and missions/careers, PMDG and JustFlight and the other 3PDs will have had time to bring their Tier 1 birds over, anyway.

Sure there are lot of little annoying things but it as for default it is was very close to PMDG or ifly. ifly 737 max especially is very fresh in my memory so it was easy to figure out how setup the flight. Max flew rock solid KSFO-KSNA no major issues. Little overshoot here and there but nothing that PMDG wouldn't done. I also discovered that my copilot actually move lips when talk to ATC LOL

I tried to use PilotLife2 with Beta FSUPC but unfortunately PL2 only detected MSFS2024 but couldn't detect beginning of the flight or track the flight

You cannot use the current FSUIPC beta (7.5) with a Pilots Life V2.  Use the current non-beta version 7.4.18 and it works just fine.

I switched to none beta and it registers sim but doesn’t see engine start and beginning of flight for some reason

You also have to copy the fsuipc lvars file from your MSFS 2020 community folder and paste it into your MSFS 2024 community folder.

I think this is my problem because I uninstall MSFS 2020 to save space
