It’s hilarious how people always come to the defense of pmdg.

Just like the same old, same olds who always come out slamming PMDG at the mere mention of their name?

There are so many good alternatives around now I don’t necessarily have to have there stuff!

So why keep coming back to throw your two bob's worth in?

  • Whilst the external application helps with debugging, and for sure we'd be in a similar boat without the WASM debug tools if we were internal, I'd like to correct one thing: we do follow the SDK. Micr

  • I'm sure there will be a big word salad to explain it.

  • Please do not overlook this statement folks...   This is PMDG's biggest issues.  They do not have the WASM debug tools and that IS on Asobo.   PMDG as a marketplace provider also does not have th

Some just can't stand the fact that the PMDG 737 is probably the most popular Airliner  aircraft in MSFS 2020.

Agree to disagree and go our separate ways.

👍 Agreed. No need to bicker over it.

They bring much of the criticism on themselves in the way they operate. Stop telling us why your product doesn’t work for MSFS2924. Just get it done and stop making a drama out of it!

I much prefer his long winded updates then dead silence. Like some other developers do.

Just another excuse for pmdg to say its not our fault but we are going to have to charge for you to use the products you have probably paid for 5 or 6 times, if you had p3d as well. In msfs 2024

Funny how the dc6 was probably the least popular product from pmdg  is the most compatable!! Nothing to do with the fact that they know they would get very little in the way of funds from people wanting to use it in 2024 to warant resources in making it fully usable, so they will tell you its currently their most compatable product.

Would'nt really surprise me if they hope to sell a few copies in the process.

They will only ever make 737,747,777 on a rinse and repeat cycle for each msfs version

Certainly just as good or better companies out there now. Ifly, fenix to name but 2

If any of them can compete with the triple or 74 from pmdg then this company could well end up going the same way as boeing are heading if they are not careful.

I bought the NGX in Prepar3D and got it in MSFS for free.

I stand to be corrected, but AFAIK they did not charge for upgrades in P3D (or at least between v4 and newer).

They've also done a good job lowering the cost of entry for Hi Fi airliners, too.

What used to cost $100 minimum in P3D now costs $80.

And there is simply no better addon available for $35. NO OTHER HinFi dev is doing anything remotely as consumer friendly.

So you're pretty much completely off base

The DC-6 is compatible because it doesn't have MFDs. Simple as that.

However, you are correct in stating PMDG have fierce competitors now, and they have to figure out how to get past these types of issues more quickly.

I don’t even own the Fenix but they were able to get their plane operational in 2024. I don’t believe they had a leg up on PMDG so I don’t understand why PMDG is so far behind.

Considering how far behind MS/Asobo is PMDG is the least of my worries.
