  • Whilst the external application helps with debugging, and for sure we'd be in a similar boat without the WASM debug tools if we were internal, I'd like to correct one thing: we do follow the SDK. Micr

  • Please do not overlook this statement folks...   This is PMDG's biggest issues.  They do not have the WASM debug tools and that IS on Asobo.   PMDG as a marketplace provider also does not have th

"PMDG 737 Updates:
During the lead-up to MSFS2024, Microsoft reached out to us requesting a few minor changes to the 737 product line that we think might have had something to do with their MSFS2024 compatibliity testing... We don't honestly know for sure, but that theory also wound up on the rocks given the fact that we now know the 737 doesn't work in MSFS24... but....

These updates brought the Marketplace intake version up to build 3.00.0108. We are going to issue a micro-update to our direct sales customers via PMDG Operations Center next week in order to keep all sides one the same version of the simulation."

I'm sure there will be a big word salad to explain it.

CoPilot produced this

"The aircraft is updated, soaring through the skies with renewed vigor, its wings gleaming under the sun, technology infused, systems enhanced, navigation precise, engines roaring, passengers delighted, safety ensured, efficiency maximized, innovation embraced, future-ready, skies conquered, horizons expanded, journeys redefined, destinations reached, comfort elevated, performance optimized, reliability guaranteed, excellence achieved."

I asked it to make a poem

"In the dawn's early light, it takes to the air,
With wings that shimmer, a marvel so rare.
Updated and ready, it soars with grace,
Through clouds and blue skies, it finds its place.

Engines hum softly, a symphony's tune,
Guided by stars and the light of the moon.
Technology whispers, systems aligned,
Precision in motion, a marvel designed.

Passengers smile, their journey begun,
Comfort and safety, second to none.
Efficiency reigns, innovation's embrace,
The future of travel, in this wondrous space.

Horizons expand, destinations anew,
The aircraft is updated, dreams coming true.
With excellence soaring, the skies it will chart,
A testament to progress, a feat of the heart."

2020. They are still dead in the water for 2024 until MS releases the C++/WASM tools they need.

....which is apparently PMDG's fault as far as some people are concerned.

Of course, because I cite Jörg: "we do not like to have half-baked features in our sim". As a matter of fact, it HAS to be PMDGs fault then.

Bob posted another thread this morning.

I don't know what it is for...

Times are changing there is a lot more competition out there now from when PMDG were the kings.

But that's not taking away from what they have given us over the years.

I don’t even own the Fenix but they were able to get their plane operational in 2024. I don’t believe they had a leg up on PMDG so I don’t understand why PMDG is so far behind.

It would be nice if MS would just get off their butt and post the previous update for the PMDG 737 to the marketplace..  The take away with the update issue is that I will no longer  be purchasing third party aircraft from the marketplace if it's available from the developer regardless if it's higher priced.

If you owned it you might understand.

Fenix uses ProSim, so the heavy lifting is done outside of the sim. PMDG does it all in the sim.

PMDG also follows the SDK so it works on both platforms, Fenix is only on PC.
