Mass Aircraft Updates Today (Carenado)

Featured Replies

All of my Carenado planes got an update today, 8 or 9 of them.  Anyone have a clue what those were for?

TIA,

-B

Making them work as intended, I hope 🤣

Greetings, Chris

AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D, 2x32GB DDR5 6000MT/s RAM, MSI RTX 4090 Ventus 3X, Windows 11 Home, MSFS2024

Is this to make them work properly in 2024?

The non existent lights, the non working nav systems?

Hope so….

It is really nice this can all be done on the back end now and does not need to be pushed out to us.

MSFS 2024. Primary Planes: Black Square TBM850, Duke, Baron, Caravan; A2A Comanche; FSReborn Phenom; Fexix A321; PMDG 737-7, 777: Utilities: Active Sky (Passive Mode); BATC, FSLTL.

Where do you see if an update has taken place?

Go to Profiles,Content Manager.  Your 2020 updates show up there.

Carenado airplanes are just toys with wings as far as I'm concerned, so I don't care much about them. Thanks for the info anyway.

One of the few advantages of streaming everything. But then, if it can be rolled out like this, it should not be much of an hassle to force an update of locally stored content, no?

Maybe I'm mistaken, but I think this is just the normal Thursday third party update routine for 2020.

I certainly do not see any fixes in the 2024 versions of the Carenado aircraft....  Wonder what they are doing..?

The Carenado PC-12 flies pretty well and has better visuals than the Simworks product imo.

Unfortunately the sounds are typical low effort Carenado fashion.

Still one of the best products from them so far.

Asus Maximus X Hero Z370/ Windows 10
MSI Gaming X 1080Ti (2100 mhz OC Watercooled)
8700k (4.7ghz OC Watercooled)
32GB DDR4 3000 Ram
500GB SAMSUNG 860 EVO SERIES SSD M.2

Just tried the PC-24. Cold & Dark, entering the cockpit and both red and yellow warning lights illuminated. Hovering over them with the mouse, the monstrous infopopup appears telling me «n/a». Thanks, but no. Turned the sim off again...
