December 6, 20241 yr Just tried this and no more ghosting and crispy clear Displays even with DLSS Ultra Performance 🤯
December 6, 20241 yr I saw this yesterday and tried it. It seems to work OK. Rick Abshier 5900X | RTX 5070 Ti OC| 64 GB@3600 | India Pale Ale
December 6, 20241 yr Wow!!! I know what I am trying after my conference call!! I did see this in another thread here on Avsim but can't remember which one LOL... Multi tasking is not always efficient 😉 If this simple config change works I will be over the moon. The video is pretty convincing! Have a Wonderful Day -Paul Solk
December 6, 20241 yr I’ve tried this, but with my 4090 I got much lower FPS than on TAA, even with ultra performance. Best regards, Alexander Rietveld

I wonder if it can be coupled with lossless scaling which I am using now. Then losing the FPS wouldn't be an issue. Was it a big hit? Have a Wonderful Day -Paul Solk

It was, with TAA and FG on I was hitting 75FPS at Heathrow, with this tweak I went down to the low/mid 50s. 2 minutes ago, eXpress48 said: Did you try to update your DLSS DLL to the latest version? December 6, 20241 yr Not really a "fix" as you're just killing the performance gain of DLSS in the process, making using DLSS redundant. December 6, 20241 yr Yep, me to. GPU works less in TAA then SecondaryScaling=2.0 +DLSS Performance. Anyways with 3.8.10 ghosting becoming 'acceptable' Edited December 6, 20241 yr by vincentrouleau Vincent Rouleau AMD Ryzen 7950X3d / 64.0GB G.SKILL Neo DDR5 6000 / Gigabyte GeForce® RTX 4080 16Gig / / Samsung C49RG9 49' /ASUS PB287QQ ‑ 27" UHD / AGAMMIX 2TB / Samsung 970 PRO 1TB / PNY SSD 1TB / Windows 11 / Gigabyte B650M Elite Motherboard

In fact the fix for DLSS ghosting just negates the advantage of DLSS. If secondary scaling with a factor higher than 1.0 is applied, you just counteract DLSS (rendering at a lower internal resolution to upscale on the screen). Usual clickbait video. P.S. If half of the trick this youtuber posted in the last couple of years were true, he would be the nVidia CEO now 😄 Edited December 6, 20241 yr by MrFuzzy 7800X3D | 2x32 GB DDR5-6000 CL32 | RTX 5080 | Alienware OLED 34" | 1 Gbps fiber
December 6, 20241 yr Is there any factual fps increase from grabbing a new dll for use in native frame gen in MSFS? I have not got a new DLL just because it seems like placebo but if there is a verifiable fps increase I'd do it. | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
