So, I decided to run a test at LIMC this morning i witnessed just 2 departures and 2 arrivals for the duration of 60 min with AI density set to 10.  I have full set of AIG models installed that perfectly works with PSXT, so I don't think it's matching issue. 

 

Any ideas?

I am not entirely sure their traffic is working as it should. I took a very late flight last night DEN-ABQ and there was so much traffic, impossible at that time of the night. I am not sure if the FS time isn't recognized or what... did you try setting a different time of the sim to see if the density is increased?

I used ZULU Time for LIMC departure, approximately 11am.

I have my traffic set on a very low setting 2s and 3s, and I get tons of traffic.

Hmmm

You should definitely see more at LIMC. I suggest going on Discord and posting your logfiles, so someone can check your logfiles. This usually tells the story. You can @ me over there and I can look at them myself tomorrow.

BATC does use the in-sim time. Was it "very late" in-sim or in real life? Also if you have to make sure you change the in-sim time *before* clicking on "Fly" in the app.

There's an Asobo bug with MSFS2024's sim time, though, so this might influence this if you were on 2024.

It was around midnight local time, live time and yes, in 2024. I figured there's a bug with time because there was no way it was THAT busy last night. Heh

Yes, I did use in-sim historical time.

I'm flying EDDF-EKCH now with 5 hours and I have a lot of traffic. However, a lot of departing and arriving traffic stuck on taxiways like it's FS2004 or FSX all over again

What are the correct settings to just see BATC traffic.  I seem to recall as well when I tried to remove AI traffic nothing showed and it was high traffic time of day.

Yes unfortunately a lot scenery devs had no interest in sticking to the SDK when doing their scenery… you can seee that yourself in the BATC taxi map. Some will show entire taxiways missing, other will show links missing, others will have all their taxiways unnamed etc. Unfortunately this data has to be used if someone wants to inject their own traffic, so there‘s nothing BATC can do. And without injecting your own traffic you cannot control it. And without control… well default. Traffic

All MSFS default traffic and all other injectors OFF. You need FSLTL or AIG models and liveries, though. Did you see a yelloe INOP sticker over the traffic settings?

No, not for PSXT. PSXT does not need that data.
