December 28, 20241 yr Moderator As someone old enough to remember the assassination I asked a friend to fly over Dealey Plaza in 2020 and was genuinely shocked at its representation. Given its historical importance you would have thought more attention would be paid to the area in 2024. Ray (Cheshire, England). It seems strange that such a large metropolitan area like Dallas and North of Dallas which has excellent tile / photogrammetry quality in Bing maps has such low quality tiles on the Sim servers: https://www.bing.com/maps?cp=32.927452~-96.79606&lvl=12.2&style=g&pi=45
December 28, 20241 yr Thought Dallas would have been corrected by now (2020). It's a shame this carried into 2024.😔 FS2020 Alienware Aurora R11 10th Gen Intel Core i7 10700F - Windows 11 Home 32GB Ram NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super OC 16GB - Pimax Crystal Light VR

I'm not saying the screenshot below looks great, but it might be better than the default. https://flightsim.to/file/48144/dallas-city-enhanced 7950X3D | RTX 4090 | 64GB DDR5
December 29, 20241 yr It's beyond bizarre that Dallas has never been fixed, despite having two updates for the US PG. I also find it hilarious when Jorg claimed they would be using new tech for the PG cities in 2024, but in reality, it's the same old half baked PG from 2020. We literally got bamboozled with 2024.
December 29, 20241 yr When a large portion of your user base uses a hack of injecting aerial maps (Google maps mod) to improve the most "revolutionary" aspect of your product, one would hope that would be a clear signal to the developers to listen to the feedback from their customers and make some meaningful changes. At the very least, it must be extremely embarrassing. Regards, Kendall 7800X3D/G.B. Aorus 650 Elite V2.0/32GB GSkill Trident 6000-CL30/Nvidia 1080 Ti./Seasonic Focus 1200W PSU.

Dealey Plaza is clearly identifiable there. 👍 Ray (Cheshire, England). December 29, 20241 yr For me, the PG "trees" are the single biggest fault in 2024. They were bad in 2020 too, but they somehow feel even worse now. I've even taken to turning PG off for some flights in some areas, which is something I never, ever, did in 2020. Trouble then is you get the really bland autogen buildings in the city centres. The autogen is ok for the smaller buildings, actually very good in lots of cases, but sucks bigtime for the city towers. Considering just how spectacular most of the scenery is in 2024, with the new trees and land surfaces (and the pebbles, of course!), it seems a bit strange to have this backward step within what seems to be one of the major selling points of 2024. Hopefully it might get improved at least, even if it doesn't get fixed. Meanwhile, there are various packages (Bijan, Taburet) that make some very worthwhile adjustments but they're not necessarily global. E.g. Bijan does make global improvements in some areas (tree types etc) but putting in exclusions for the PG blobs is more localised - but well done and seemingly almost on request. Ryzen 9 7900X, Corsair H150 AIO cooler, 64 Gb DDR5, Asus X670E Hero m/b, 3090ti, 13Tb NVMe, 8Tb SSD, 16Tb HD, 55" Philips 4k HDR monitor, EVGA 1600w ps, all in Corsair 7000D airflow case.
