I've never felt so stupid doing something that I new could backfire No when you load the new driver tomorrow your all set - but load the new Geforce app first that will clean out this preset nonsense - no need to do anything and I will be dumping Nvidia inspector no need for it - I only used it to play around with new DSSL I loaded new Geforce app tonight so ready for tomorrow to load new driver Rich Sennett
January 30, 20251 yr I just noticed that the Frame Generation option in the graphics setting in sim is gone. Didn't change anything since putting DLSS4 in and preset J. Anyone seeing the option in menu? Thanks i7-13700KF @ 5.3GHz 32.0GB DDR5 @ 5600 RTX 3080 65" LG OLED @ 4k

January 30, 20251 yr Did that. No preset j, no inspector. Went back to 3.8 on Dlss and still nothing in menu. All universal files for frame gen in correct folder. No clue... i7-13700KF @ 5.3GHz 32.0GB DDR5 @ 5600 RTX 3080 65" LG OLED @ 4k
January 30, 20251 yr Best Buy seems to have updated their site with coming soon cards.. The price range is $2,000-$2,800 MSRP!!! so $3,500 with the scalper markup? Yeah, this is a hard pass for me. Have a Wonderful Day -Paul Solk

Yeah, this is a hard pass for me. Oh wow, this is getting ridiculous! I shelled out for the 4090 at launch day 2 yrs ago (upgraded from a 1080Ti btw which was probably the most significant hardware upgrade in my 20+ yr history of simming). But I’ll definitely skip this generation. —- No updates on the big DLSS4 / driver launch from nvidia today? 7950X3D | RTX 4090 | 64GB DDR5

January 30, 20251 yr BTW just downloaded DLSS swapper for the first time and it installs a nvngx_dlss.dll.dlsss file along with the other files, is that normal? I never seen a .dlsss file before? My content folder shows: nvngx_dlss.dll nvngx_dlss.dll.dlsss nvngx_dlssg.dll nvngx_dlssg.dll.dlsss Is this what everyone else has when using DLSS Swapper?
