that's why I had added "😀"

but how about:

how about those, or the 2 only ones ? , who got it working, describe their installation, since they seem to be the exception.

strange thing is I can change the DLSS override for MSFS2020, but not for MSFS 2024 SU 1 beta.

............................................................................................................................

in NVidia control panel (NOT NVidia app): everything reset on default?

MSFS 2024 SU 1 beta or default?

install path: MSFS 2024 default or individual

have used and applied DLSS profiles via Nvidia inspector ?

Did you click the three dots and refresh? That is all I did really ... No ideas sorry.

That is what all the hoo-ha was about anyways, frame gen..

not only frame gen. hoo-ha also for us VR users, we need all the hoo-ha optimisations we can get via DLSS, since there is no FrameGen in VR. 🤣

very nice.

Well, multi-frame gen for the RTX50 series, but also general DLSS improvements for all RTX cards....

Yeah but look closely at the nvidia app, and the setting that is working for the DLSS override is the framegen one only...

Yeah that is greyed out on mine too, I am using DLSS Override - Model presets...

It looks like its only enabled for framegen version... That is what I was trying to get at, sorry ha!

I'll have a look shortly once I'm safely down on the ground in Narita. If that is the case, that's really weird. One would think that both the frame gen and "regular" .dll's were added to MSFS.

Judging by this thread so far, it seems that DLSS swapper (or just manually replacing the .dll's) - is still relevant. But I guess profile J is no longer relevant? It's been replaced by some "profile K" which is not even named "profile K" in inspector?

Oh, the confusion is complete at this point it seems! 😅 Silly of me to think this would be easy haha

It works fine in frame gen mode, see my pic. That is what all the hoo-ha was about anyways, frame gen...

Nope, hoo-ha is about new super resolution Transformer model. Thats where we shoud see most improvement with blured textures, ghosting etc.  And that is not supported for 2024. Frame Gen improvements are not noticable.

Maybe Asobo will implement natively dlss4 features till end of SU 1 beta.. LOL...

Ahhh so as usual then it’s Asobo who is letting us down, a bit like with Tobii native support, yet it still doesn’t work without a hack-around…!

and:

"DLSS Super Resolution and Ray Reconstruction SDK 310.1.0"

we already all have those version 310.1.0 DLLs

You're kidding! I just ordered the Tobii5 which I planned to use with 2024 🫠 It was mentioned in one of the recent patches that it's supposed to be compatible now.

Good look in trying to set it up, the setup page for it is about as useful as a chocolate teapot, I had to copy my xml file over from 2020 settings to use it, can’t get eye tracking working, and no way to fine tune it. All in all a mess. (Some suggest using opentrack with it, but for some reason isn’t compatible with G-sync)

ps tells you on the Tobii site
