January 31, 20251 yr The advanced Nvidia driver caused lots of issues with my computer, and just a few hours ago, I got the blue screen of death (no bueno). The central lesson for me is not to download drivers from unapproved websites. All my fault, of course. This might be a good time to take a prolonged break from flight sim. Don’t have the desire to start from scratch.

January 31, 20251 yr So it's weird, I put the customsettingnames.xml file in the Nvinspector folder and the 310.2 Dlss stuff still does not appear the the 5-commons section. There are DLSS stuff later in other and I did enable dlss override. Nvidia app still shows 2020 works but 2024 not. I did copy the latest 310.2 files to the msfs2024 folder and over rode the old ones. Gotta be something obvious I'm missing. How do I know if MS2024 is using the latest DLSS?

January 31, 20251 yr Preset K working fine in 2024 beta for me. There is no way that I know of to get DLSS4 without using the latest profile inspector. The Nvidia app will not get it done as far as I can read. I have no clue about 2020, I seldom go there. 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel.
