You use DLSS Swapper - its labeled 3.10 or whatever it really is DLSS 4 - then Nvidia inspector to load J preset - just not convenient

It does work with 2024 as it has here, no problems.  You can manually download everything using the links in the first post also.

The Nvidia app and new DLSS 4 override function works for me on my 4090 RTX, just as described in the instructions. Options were greyed out for me too, until I did a full PC restart. Also, after installing the new Nvidia app, make sure you login to the app with your Nvidia account credentials. If you don't have any, you can create an account free.

Those are the steps I did to make it all work.

Wrong, you don’t need to log in on the NVIDIA app.

Well, I did. It would not work until I logged in.

christ this is confusing, so do we *need* the nVidia App for DLSS 4 to work or not? I have a 3070ti. Also DLSS Swapper still shows 310.1 as the "latest"....is it? or is DLSS 4 actually named v4?!

Pico Neo3 Link VR - Windows 11 64bit, Gigabyte Z590 Aorus Elite Mobo, i7-10700KF CPU, Gigabyte RX 9070 XT OC 16gb (AMD GPU), 32gig Corsair 3600mhz RAM, SSD x2 + M.2 SSD 1tb x1

No, you don't need the nVidia app. The latest DLSS DLL is 310.1.0.0 and supports the new transformer model.

The best way is to do like before the release of the new driver and the (bugged?) nVidia app: DLSS Swapper to update the DLL + force DLSS preset J in nVidia Profile Inspector. Don't forget to click on "Apply changes" on top right.

do not bother with doing this, doing that, etc. i had all greyed out on rtx 3080. nothing worked. i got it all working by uninstalling the nvidia app, rebooting, reinstall latest nvidia app. bingo, all working.
