Hi,

Uninstalling, rebooting, installing, then rebooting again… nothing works for me…

I’ll wait till tomorrow and see if the issue continues.

Greetings

It does work with 2024 as it has here, no problems.  You can manually download everything using the links in the first post also.

I did all of that - restart restart yada yada - login - refresh yada yada - doesnt work here 😞

do not bother with doing this, doing that, etc. i had all greyed out on rtx 3080. nothing worked. i got it all working by uninstalling the nvidia app, rebooting, reinstall latest nvidia app. bingo, all working.

Did all that no luck

Same here - I’m on Steam, using the Beta with a 4090. For those who have it working, are you in the Beta and on Steam or Store?

Is the only thing the app is doing replacing the DLSS Swapper functionality?  What other benefits does it bring?  I can already do screen captures and see resource utilization.

Wondering what type of resources it consumes?  Does it run all the time?  Is it a replacement for the NCP?

I prefer to limit what is required to run on my sim rig and I'm not seeing anything in the app I can't do manually without Nvidia consuming more system resources.  Am I wrong?

I'm on Steam, SU1, uninstalling and reinstalling the Nvidia app gave me the settings. I'm on a 4070

Did you elect to have it NOT optimize your games?   Or did you have it optimize them.

good question, I don't want the app optimising anything as I run in VR so don't need it telling me what I want it to do!

I’d like to know this as well. Judging by ISP’s video yesterday, NCP is somehow “incorporated” in the app. When installing the app, is NCP gone? I wouldn’t mind being able to keep using it due to familiarity.

Also, I didn’t expect the difficulties just getting DLSS4 working with the sim now that the official driver is here. I thought MSFS would be one of those 75 games where everything just happens automatically. But judging by this thread, DLSS4 override needs to be used. Heck, it seems some still need to use inspector 🤷🏻‍♂️

I’m not able to install the app and the driver as I’m stuck in a perpetual flight in in A330 from Paris to Tokyo…

One note everyone.
DLSS4 SuperResolution Override is not supported for FS2024. Only Frame Generation. Funy enaught, it is supported for FS 2020 🙂

https://www.nvidia.com/en-gb/geforce/news/nvidia-rtx-games-engines-apps/

At the bottom of the page is list of games with supported overides (NV,U, T). 2024 does not have support for NV (NV app). just that Super resolution is supported but no override for new model.

Games and apps with NVIDIA app DLSS 4 overrides are denoted as follows:

  • DLSS Multi Frame Generation enabled via NVIDIA app: ✓ [ NV ]
  • DLSS Frame Generation AI model update available via NVIDIA app: ✓ [ NV, U ]
  • DLSS Super Resolution and DLSS Ray Reconstruction transformer model updates available via NVIDIA app: ✓ [ NV, T ]
  • DLAA enabled via NVIDIA app and/or updated to transformer model: ✓ [ NV, T ]

Thanks! We can at least rule those things out as the issue.

It’s not the GeForce app, you’re installing the wrong one. LOL

Shows you what a sorry state Asobo has 2024 in right now.
