DLSS4 SuperResolution Override is not supported for FS2024. Only Frame Generation. Funy enaught, it is supported for FS 2020 🙂

No override for 2024? That can't be true, according to this thread some people have the override method working. Or maybe they were using 2020. Could it be a SU1 beta issue?

how about those, or the 2 only ones ? , who got it working, describe their installation, since they seem to be the exception.

strange thing is I can change the DLSS override for MSFS2020, but not for MSFS 2024 SU 1 beta.

in NVidia control panel (NOT NVidia app): everything reset on default?

MSFS 2024 SU 1 beta or default?

install path: MSFS 2024 default or individual

have used and applied DLSS profiles via Nvidia inspector ?

Thanks! We can at least rule those things out as the issue.

Okay, uninstalling and reinstalling the Nvidia App finally worked for me.

Updated DLSS Swapper and now it doesnt work what a mess - it opens downloaded the latest swapper file but doesnt see it 😞

Yeah, it is only changing the Frame Gen. Going back to Swapper and Inspector but glad I was able to get the new driver today.

you sure you are in Boston? they just updated it specifically for users in Brazil 😀:

1. Issues downloading DLLs in Brazil

This is related to an ongoing Cloudflare network issue. We are awaiting them to restore their services.

I figured it out - I copied back those nvgnx files back into my Steam limitless folder

Open swapper and it see it again on the MSFS2024 Avatar - I guess it is only a swapper and doesnt swap if you have nothing to swap - yes you can download dlss files here no problem

Glad I had a copy of them

Still not sure if this new Geforce DLSS feature is really working with MSFS 2024 - to many people say yes it does and other saying no it doesnt - crazy

MSFS 2024 does not support this feature. Ianrivaldosmith must be confusing MSFS 2024 with something else then. 😀

Question:

Above in thread on page 3 near the bottom, by Richard Sennett is a mention to use preset K which is new, and not the old preset J. (Preset K is identified as long string of letters 0x00FFFFFF instead of a "K".)

Should we 4000 series users set the preset to J or to K ? (I have been using preset J for several days now).

Nope, check out my picture. No confusion here, it works fine in model preset mode.

I'm surprised. I thought microsobo had a decent working relationship with nvidia - at least they did in autumn 2020 (anyone remember the nvidia MSFS promo trailer for the brand new DLLS frame gen with the release of the RTX4090?)

But it's apparently working in 2020. Is it working in 2024 non-beta?

It works fine in frame gen mode, see my pic. That is what all the hoo-ha was about anyways, frame gen...

Well, multi-frame gen for the RTX50 series, but also general DLSS improvements for all RTX cards....
