I don't know if any native 2024 aircraft yet.

The INI a306 has a native version. It uses the new livery structure and has wear and tear I believe.

  • I've definitely invested a LOT of money in 2020 lol!  It wouldn't be a hobby if it were cheap right? HAHA I guess from a dev standpoint 24 is too unstable...  (which imo is accurate).  When 2024

  • I am in no hurry to buy anything.... 2024 for me, is 2020 with better scenery and smoother performance. The airplanes I like to fly, all work now:  RV14A, A36, Kodiak, Islander, TBM850, C414, Kin

  • Yeah, it's a bit of a mystery. I guess the whole aircraft thing could be a bit difficult as things are apparently a bit different in how they work. Kinda evidenced by the number of my 2020 aircraft th

Hi Bert, I just bought KPSP Palm Springs from ORBX after reading your post for 2024 version....

I'm sorry to say what a disappointment with the standard of this airport now.

I had this airport in P3D and maybe FSX and it was lovely, highly detailed with tons of extra objects - it was a joy to taxi to the "Signature" FBO and see the planters and flowers and people standing around, the fuel trucks the vehicles the detail on the buildings - everything in the airport was of a far far higher class than it is now.  Is this progress 2024 style (Trying to keep within fast download limits at the expense of detail ) - I hope not. (This should not be an issue as the Airport is actually in my Community Folder on my drive.)

It may be my PC is not configured correctly but as far as I can tell it's ok.

Perhaps your experience is much better .....

Where are they all?  I want hot new juicy addons for 2024!!

I want to give you my money developers!!!

I talked to a friend who is a developer for one of the major companies about MSFS 2024. It seems most developers agree that it was released prematurely. Not only is it buggy (which makes finding your own bugs more difficult), but the SDK is not well documented or even defined at this point.

I experienced that myself: I do some small-scale developing for fun and noticed that some things that I tried with the SDK don't work as advertised. I then decided to go back to MSFS 2020 and wait until MSFS 2024 is a somewhat stable platform, and hopefully with a lot less content only stored in the cloud. I imagine that many developers are also waiting for the new sim to be more stable. For me that is only an annoyance, but the professional developers are losing money through these delays. I am really sorry for them.

That is the one I have.

For Ryan, the civilian flier I suggest the Flight FX P-180 Avanti or as I call it the eggbeater (angry bees by sound).

Hmm, mine is the Inibuilds version.. looking OK.  If you enable/disable your airport, does it show a difference?

Haven't tried it yet, I was wondering how it is.
