I posted about this on the forums.  I also experience it fairly often...perhaps 25% of the time.

Glad, in a sense to know it's not just me. I did a complete reinstall to try and rectify the matter but, is what it is.

Papi lights and autolandings are very risky in fs24, almost no airport is good for precision approaches.

Missing the PMDG DC6 in MSFS 2024 (she's here, but...).

The annoying bug that the charts seize to function sometimes has sadly still not been fixed. This even carries over to the OIS of Inibuild's A350 if you use the LIDO Charts.

Carenado would still need to make the fix.

I am aware, just as MSFS have many other external developers working for them under contract. but MSFS 2024 including the Cessna 404 is sold exclusively by Microsoft, they advertised and delivered the premium deluxe version including the Cessna 404, they are obliged to deliver a product to the customer that works. how and what their contractual situation with any of their suppliers may be, it's none of my business.

it would take them only a few lines in a panel configuration to fix this as they did already a while ago with other GNS 530 aircraft like the C172, but they can't be bothered with this miniature modification even 3 months after release. just like their lack of DLSS4 support "from day one". 🤣

I am beginning to loose my initial enthusiasm for this team.

60-130 fps. no CPU overclocking.

very nice.

Would any of the above have anything to do with the C185 not working? On spawn it plonks you into the cockpit and no way to to walk round and remove 'stuff'. Consequently the engine wont start because it's nose is blocked up. Ctrl+E no worky either. If you do get out and mooch about there are no click spots for chocks etc.

Are there still stutters approaching runways and during taxi like for ex EGLL ?

thanks

Heathrow is still a stuttering mess. It's unusable in its present state.

I have already flagged it in the official forums in prior beta release.

I have the same problem, not only with C185 but also with C404 as I have tested so far.

Believe it or not that gives me some relief. It's pretty unlikely we would have both cocked up on the same plane. C404? I don't think I have that. I'll check.

Nope. I only see it down as a passive aircraft. Whatever that means

I don't have this problem. If I spawn on the ramp I am outside of the aircraft and can move around and it has all the clickspots.

Indeed I have premium deluxe version. Still don't manage to start the C185. It spawn me right in cockpit,I'm trying to switch in walkaround mode with shift + C and nothing happen. C404 was fine, until few time ago. I wanted to take a spin with C185 when was added in library and then encountered this bug. I checked controls, settings etc, nothing wrong there.

C404 isn't something I'd miss, so all good there. 😉

I don't think I'll stress myself over the C185, It'll sort itself out...Eventually.
