March 1, 20251 yr For reasons given on his website, FSTramp will now be free for a short time. Can be downloaded and used forever, free. But no doubt future updates to it will not be free. (This was how it went down with FSTramp first appeared way back when FSX came out in 2006). FSTramp can be considered a program that does what LilNavMap does. LNM is more powerful, but FSTramp is much easier to navigate the features and use. One thing I like about it, there is a hotkey to open and close it. When open, msfs will not be visible, when closed FSTramp will not be visible. This is ideal for single monitor use. You switch back and forth from msfs to FST with a hotkey. But there's another hotkey to open FST in a different window that can be moved to another monitor which is nice for a dual monitor setup. FST also has a "fly to here" and "jump to here" feature on the main map. I would install FST to another location from the default, because administer rights are required in the default location. For instance, you can't complete an unzip files operation without administer rights in the default location. http://fstramp.internetshop.cc/download.html 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. I used it all the time to see where i was exactly flying.... sometimes my finger still goes to the F9 key. Any idea what happened to the maker? When FSX came out there were rumors that Helge Schroeder had health issues. But after a few months he released his FSTramp to replace his FSNavigator. So he must be in great health because the updates are continuing to this day.
