I expect it to be improved when they kept saying it would be, and that working title were working on it? If however they said, “hey we’re not doing anything else with it”, that would be perfectly fine, some 3rd party can come up with something. But they don’t, they just keep glossing over it, like a state of limbo.

I don't think they will dedicate any resources on this anytime soon - but that's just my gut feeling. And for some reason I'm fine with that.

Gotta feel sorry for the devs; it’s not enough that they give up their free time at unsociable hours to face what they know will be (at least some) uncomfortable questions on a global platform in thei

Disagree. Working in global business comms I’ve heard it said many times by native English speakers that French colleagues are unenthusiastic. Also Japanese, Scandinavian, Indian etc. etc. etc. Sure,

  • What I have learned in life is that there are people you will never be able to satisfy. Whatever Joerg, Seb or Martial do or say, it's never enough because they forgot to mention this or that or they

The why don’t they just say that? We’re just left guessing…

Except that Asobo doesn't answer to AVSIM'rs,

Indeed. I found the comment about replacing Asobo with an English-speaking team a bit provocative. But hey - that's just me - being European I guess and not having English as my native language 🙂

Your English is exceptionally good (and assessing / coaching English ability is kind of my thing!). I haven’t seen anything in your usage to suggest not native. What is your first language, if you don’t mind?

How do you know? Another assumption that is based on zero facts?
Actually I believe Jorg said at one point they do occasionally read avsim posts.

Avsim has got nothing to do with their QA’s. Their thousands of users over at the MSFS forums complaining about the same things and more though… Well if they don’t listen to them, then who do they listen to?

Asobo don’t have to answer to anybody, however it would be a bit off putting for many people whom spend 60-200 on the game itself and then thousands more on addons if Asobo just ignored them. Hence the reason people get frustrated when outstanding issues don’t get resolved.

Naturally 😅Spent over an hour chatting to a Norwegian guy in a bar in Japan many years ago assuming he was from Liverpool before he told me otherwise.

That's probably because Liverpoolians originally were from Norway, or something like that. 😉

Scandinavian influence I believe. Same as Geordie. We say “I’m gan hyem” for I’m going home and “I’m gan oot” for I’m going out. Derives from Norwegian.

Geordie, the dialect spoken in Tyneside, has some words with Scandinavian roots, including "bairn" (child, from "barn" in Norwegian), "hyem" (home, from "hjem"), and "oot" (out, from "ud" or "ute")

The keyword is "answer" as in they can't be pushed around.

Your supposed keyword of “answer” does not equate to pushing Asobo around, no one said they could be pushed around? 🤦🏼‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️ I get the impression you’re just spoiling.

I'm getting close to flight 100 in 2024 and really do like how much better the ATC phraseology is becoming.  Also the AI traffic is much improved so I do appreciate all of ASOBO's work in this regard.

The presentation today was appreciated also.

But enjoy it for what it is.

I sure am - a rather good upgrade from the already excellent 2020.

I think that the ATC phraseology improvements are due to AI training because like I said it improves daily.
