Well Maritial is making millions as being one of the leaders of Asobo and credit to MS why should he not be happy in life? Logical thinking here.  It doesn't mean he shows the same smile (passion) in front of a video and answering hard questions though about MSFS that some folks ask with concern, but the (gullible folks) seems to just eat up here without any doubt to what he says. (Maritial) Celebrity yeah  ok 99% of MSFS users don't even know or even care who he is as they want a better more improved product.

I've had less CTDs in 2024 since launch then I did in 2020 in the same time span.

I've had maybe 5-6 in 2024? And they they're weeks apart. I was over double digits in 2020.

I'm telling you, 1 CTD in 3 months (early on) not because I'm special but because I'm the poster child for no addons.  The 2020 HJET and 20  2020 airports are great in 2024.

Millions, eh? This is Asobo, not Activision. A quick search shows Ubisoft is of a similar size, and their CEO pulls in less than a million a year. Not saying high six-figure salaries are chump change, but there are plenty of places where you can make more money in technology (without randoms on the internet criticizing your every move). I'm not in the industry but I know a few former game devs. There is a reason they are all in the corporate world now...

It's funny, game devs seem to be a bit like pilots. Pulled into their profession due to their passion and then nickel and dimed and overworked until they hold on long enough to (hopefully) make the big leagues. My flight instructor went on to work for the regionals for a few years until he quit to get into politics. Imagine how much the pay and work environment must have sucked to trade a career in aviation for politics 😂

Ok, then explain your last experience in front of a live feed with 1000's of user's of a product watching "in demand" and explain to know what is going on for the future of the product we are talking about? I hope you can because I surely couldn't. They are all in a tough position, we just ask the questions.

Well I retract my statement then but It doesn't mean the fact that Asobo are not making millions off of MSFS partnership though or is that false too. These guys are not going broke anytime soon.

Since they're a private company they don't need to publicly reveal their revenue numbers for shareholders, so hard to say.
