Now like you, I would have preferred the default trees to have better heights out the box but what makes the add-on worth the asking price is the constant updates it gets. If you contact Bijan and ask him to tweak something, there's a high chance he'll do it. That's why I get updates almost every other day. So it's not just tree heights getting adjusted, it's tree types and placement. @BijanStudio Thank you for the amazing work. I'll reach out to you about making St. Lucia (Caribbean) even more accurate lol 5800X3D. 32 GB RAM. 1TB SATA SSD. 3TB HDD. RX 9070XT.

Approaching the marshaller, I looked up for a panel scan and realized I hadn't started the APU after clearing the runway. I hit the master and waited for the ready light, then started. As the pilot flying turned off the fuel switches, there was a three second silence as the engines wound down and boom, power came back on. The guy looked at me with a puzzled look and I smiled, saying I forgot to start the APU🤣 Rick D http://g5flyer.tumblr.com/

April 1, 20251 yr I use 2024, but your video, in my opinion shows 2020 to be more detailed, brighter and more realistic to my eye. Even the helicopter cockpit looks better in the 2020 version.

Would be glad to hear how to ‘properly’ setup my display🤔. The video does not show what my 52” TV looks like to me. What it looks like to you is what the recording is and when you play the video, what it looks like to you depends on what monitor or TV you are using to watch the video and what are the colour display settings in your equipment. Your experience and mine could be totally different, which actually makes my video fairly useless as far as the colours are concerned. What it does show are the differences in vegetation and especially the mountains and rocks which look much superior than the rocks in 2020, and that does not depend on where you play the video. One more thing…I posted the video just as a way to show scenery differences and not to change anybody’s opinion. Obviously, what you see depends on whether you play MSFS with no changes in your display, or whether you try to enhance the colours by playing with filters. In fact, for me, it was the first time I realized I could change the colours so drastically with the Nvidia app, for better or for worse. I9-13900K, RTX 4090, Reverb G2, Simrig Motion platform

I am not sure which one I prefer, but the rock formations are much better in 2024 imo I9-13900K, RTX 4090, Reverb G2, Simrig Motion platform

A while back, I had added a filter with the Nvidia app and I forgot about it. When I removed the filter, the colours are significantly different and actually look more realistic in my opinion in MSFS 2024, especially the greens. Here a screenshot that shows the difference. I will need to redo my previous video without the filters. Sorry about that 😳 It explains the overly bright green trees in your original video. The tree colors look much more realistic in this video. I have never complained about the tree colors on my computer for MSFS 2024. But then again, I don't fly the same areas that you fly, so maybe you found some area and time of year, where the trees were exceptionally bright green for you. The new video without the filter looks much better. I'm not even sure why people are using filters for MSFS 2024. The default colors look quite good to me for MSFS 2024. Unless your monitor is aging and it's generating weird colors because of its age, I don't think any filters are needed for MSFS 2024. But I guess everyone has their reasons. i5-12400, RTX 3060 Ti, 32 GB RAM

In 2020 I used ReShade for a while, then nvidia filters, then REX Atmos. In 2024 I've briefly tried nvidia filters, but I prefer how the sim looks "unfiltered" 🙂 7950X3D | RTX 4090 | 64GB DDR5
