Contrail has the CRJ v2 in their store, although I do not know if Aerosoft are in their transfer list.

Hi everyone,

Due to the large number of requests we've received regarding the transfer of the CRJ from the MSFS Marketplace to the Contrail Shop, we've decided - together with Aerosoft - to place a temporary hold on handling these requests.

Aerosoft is currently discussing the matter internally, and a decision is expected by tomorrow. If we're able to move forward, the CRJ will be added as an option to our official transfer form, which will simplify the process for everyone. We'll make sure to update you as soon as we have more information.

Please also note that the CRJ may still be included in today's Marketplace update, so there's a chance you'll receive the latest version directly through the Marketplace later today.

It would be great if Aerosoft decided to allow such transfers (I have accounts in both Contrail and Aerosoft stores). I have CRJ through marketplace (bought it when it first came out, when it was only available through marketplace), but I also make liveries for it, which is extremely hard when you don't have access to gltf files (in marketplace version those are not available as marketplace encrypts those).

Thursday is over, still no update in the marketplace. I would even pay a surcharge to get it transferred from marketplace.

Following further internal discussions with Aerosoft, a decision has been made not to accept any further CRJ transfer requests from the Marketplace to the Contrail Shop.

We understand this may be disappointing and appreciate your understanding. The best course of action remains to wait for the product to be updated through the Marketplace system. We hope the update will be made available there soon.

This is a big example of why I actively avoid any marketplace purchases whenever possible.  

Well, at least you can still GET your product with the Marketplace, I purchased my CRJ direct from Aerosoft, and guess what, now they say it's unavailable, I had a disk fail, had to reinstall, and now I'm unable to even get v1 back in 2020. I opened a ticket with Aerosoft, and their response is to say absolutely NOTHING. They've just ignored me 😞 Great customer support eh?  🙄

LOL, well although I got no help via the Aerosoft ticket I opened, I actually solved the problem thru my own investigation. In case anyone in a similar boat reads this: like everyone else Aerosoft created their own desktop app, Aerosoft One, I installed that, logged in with my account, and low and behold the v2 CRJ was there to download!

So, now I can at least try it!

Glad you got it solved👍I had no issues installing with the "ONE" App, but I would really like to be able to transfer my Aerosoft purchase over to Contrail like other Non-Contrail Store purchases I have made in the past. I want to move away from purchasing from Aerosoft.

Same here. I bought a bunch of airports early on and the CRJ that never seem to get updated now.

Recently bought 3 airports on the MP: KDEN Denver, KOLM Olympic, and CJJY Victoria.

Purchases were painless and took < minute.

My favorite is Victoria.

Wait till there is an update to said products, that's when the band aid is ripped off and the pain begins.

Contrail are not transferring anymore.

Over the past few days, we've received an overwhelming number of CRJ transfer requests from Marketplace users. After reviewing the situation together, Aerosoft has decided not to allow any further transfers of the CRJ to the Contrail Shop.

We know this isn't the news you were hoping for, and we truly appreciate your understanding. For now, we recommend keeping an eye on the Marketplace - we hope the update will be published there soon.

Anyone know when it will be available in marketplace to update? I’ll admit it seems crazy to me to be an early adopter for all the CRJs which has been behind on updates for years only to be told we have no idea when you can update while others who just bought the plane get the update.
