If its price was 40 dollars I would buy your argument, but being one of the most expensive addon within the domestic simulation its quality is very questionable.

Then don't buy it.

Is this with the A350 1.0.7 update?  It says 'Removed some excessive debugging to improve perf'.  Although I don't think this will give you the extra 40-50 fps you are seeking, but it might help at least.

Yeah, latest MS2024 beta, 1.0.7 update of A350 and also latest Fenix.

no theres been a guy flying around on vatsim doing SYD-LHR-SYD,  thought it might be him

That would be over a 22 hr flight. No way realistic.

Maybe he is doing a demonstration flight...

The longest ever flight by an unmodified commercial aircraft, a Boeing 777-200LR demonstrator nicknamed "Baby Blue 2," flew 11,664 nautical miles (21,602 km) eastward from Hong Kong to London in 22 hours and 42 minutes on November 9-10, 2005.

Here's a more detailed look:
  • Aircraft: Boeing 777-200LR demonstrator, nicknamed "Baby Blue 2".

  • Route: Hong Kong to London (eastbound).

  • Distance: 11,664 nautical miles (21,602 km).

  • Duration: 22 hours and 42 minutes.

  • Date: November 9-10, 2005.

  • Purpose: To demonstrate the capabilities of the 777-200LR, a long-range variant of the 777 family.

  • Note: The flight was eastward, a much longer route than the normal westward route for that sector, which is much shorter.

Yes I have read about it in the past, thanks for posting.

That Hong Kong - London flight the long way around was cool!

1989 apparently saw the first London - Sydney nonstop demonstration flight in a 747-400 (20 hours 9 min, eastbound).

https://www.airwaysmag.com/legacy-posts/qantas-longest-nonstop-deliv-flight#:~:text=DALLAS — Today in Aviation%2C a,20 hours and nine minutes.

I guess these ultra long-hauls have been technically possible for a long time, just not economical. Where there's a will there's a way. Perhaps one could have modified a 707 or DC8 circa 1960, extra fuel tanks, just a few first class private cabins. I think with London - Sydney it's the economics. If changing in Dubai or Singapore for example only adds one or two hours to the total trip, it barely seems worth the effort flying it nonstop, but I'm sure it is a matter of prestige.

Update before the last was great. New update and screwed it up. Speed tape not working and can't engage AP. If it's not one thing it's another with these guys. I had also bought their A300 for 2024 update and FMS froze on programming. So both their planes today I tried to operate and no goes. Poor.

I thought the new update had fixed it.

Just flew FACT-EGLL. All fine in the take off and initial cruise with 35-40 FPS. Nearing TOD (the aircraft had paused at TOD), I turned pause off and I was getting 8 FPS. I never had any problem when the aircraft first came out but now it's unflyable.
