MS2024, worth it at this time or wait?

How is performance for the 320 in 2024?  I was introduced to Airbus with FBW's NX and it was pretty much good enough in 2020 for my needs.  I'm going to wait until SU2 releases because the 737 MAX may tie me over until something better arrives and I know people generally love the Fenix 320.  Performance matters hugely because I am one who isn't using any form of frame gen and use TAA so that is why I ask.  If you used Fenix in 2020 and PMDG 737, how did they compare performance-wise?

Hi Noel,

The Fenix 320 works really well for me.  I get great frames and performance with it.

I use TAA and I run a mixture of high and Ultra settings on my 4070ti Super.

Depends on what kind of flying you like to do..  For GA flying, 2024 is really good, and no need to wait.  Quite amazing to go on cross country flights and have great scenery all the way, without buyi

  • I am going to wait a few more months at least until 2024 is settled down, in the mean time 2020 is working great.

Okay I've decided to pull the trigger on 2024, although I'll probably wait until SU2 is out of beta testing.  It's not so much the money but the learning curve of a new flight sim and wanting one that

I made the switch nominally to 24 last night. I did two stress tests last night: a350 Vamsys flight w/BATC; and an a321 flight out of BOS in Vamsys, Vatsim, and Active Sky. No issues whatsoever.

I only have a 3060ti also.

Personally, I'm waiting until this fall before switching from 2020, mostly because I get anxiety and a stomachache just from the thought of having to go through the new controller's settings, and I have other hobbies and flightsiming is more of a fall and winter activity for me.

No if you fly tubes. I've had numerous freeze ups in various circumstances with various places in various airports the last couple of days. Wait until this thing makes it through beta phase. Nothing but an exercise in frustration.
