I really like the streaming idea. It works very well. I also love that I can press the MSFS 2024 icon and be at the main menu in less than a minute. Performance is very good even on SU1. MSFS

The sepia mask at night is worse in MS2024 than MS2020 making night flying an immersive killer. Asobo has either given up fixing it or lacks the talent to. Edited April 22, 20251 yr by B777ER Eric

All green, but there is not an official announcement made by the developer that the products are compatible. As far as I remember there are still glitches when installing them in MSFS 2024. The author has been quite clear in stating that the Steam Gauge addons are not going to be made compatible for 2024. So that leaves you with a choice... use them in 2024 at your own risk, or fly them in 2020 instead. Individual choice.. 😉 I fly them quite happily in 2024, but maybe that is not everyone's cup of tea.. Bert

April 22, 20251 yr Hi all, Been without my flight sim and off forums for last month or so since packing computer away due to pending house move so have missed out on latest Sim updates. Question... did ASOBO sort out the Tobii eye tracker issue, and the controller setup screen for it? Thank you

I was introduced to Airbus with FBW's NX and it was pretty much good enough in 2020 for my needs. I'm going to wait until SU2 releases because the 737 MAX may tie me over until something better arrives and I know people generally love the Fenix 320. Performance matters hugely because I am one who isn't using any form of frame gen and use TAA so that is why I ask. If you used Fenix in 2020 and PMDG 737, how did they compare performance-wise? April 25, 20251 yr I can't get decent performances with MSFS 2024 compared with MSFS 2020. I'm running the released version, not the beta, and I hope that SU2 will improve these performances. Users' experience may be different for two main reasons : 1. The hardware. I have a RTX 4060 Ti (and a pretty new CPU, Intel Ultra 7 265KF). This hardware cannot be compared with the performance of a RTX 4090 (you have to spend more than 3000 euros now to purchase a 5090...) and many reports here or on YouTube are issued by users owning this high range GPU. Of course, the gaming experience cannot be the same... 2. Many users mainly fly GA or standard aircrafts. I'm flying mostly liners add-ons. For now, the Fenix and the Inibuilds 350 are not flyable for me in MSFS 2024, because most of the time, the FPS fall down to less than 20 FPS, even with medium settings. The stutters are then awful on TO and landing. I'm using DLSS FG and AutoFPS, with OLOD at 60 and TLOD at 50 on ground. In MSFS 2020, at settings on high and even volumetric clouds on Ultra, I can get more than 40 FPS with the Fenix and the A350. Of course, , in MSFSI 2024, I can get pretty good FPS and a nice experience flying a GA aircraft or even the new version of the Aerosoft CRJ (more than 80 FPS), but this is not what I am expecting, because I want to fly study level airplanes. Don't answer that this has to do with my personal config or settings. I am not a expert for sure, but as I said, I have good performance in MSFS 2020 and I lowered drastically my settings in MSFS 2024. I am not alone : many users have reported the bad performance of MSFS 2024, involving a VRAM issue for example. I hope sincerely that the final release of SU 2 will solve these issues. But for now, I am staying on MSFS 2020, and not only to fly the PMDG 737... I haven't seen enough reports with this new cpu to comment, other than keep an eye out for other user reports with this CPU as to its performance with MSFS2024. It's definitely an unknown, and yes, there are enough architectural differences between 2020 and 2024 to where I would want to get other user reports. Shortcut is called Quick Preflight and I have mine set to Shift-Q.. So I load the flight, Shift-Q, then Shift-C and all done. Takes far less than a second. I'm on 2020 for now, but that is very good news for 2024. It was one thing I really disliked.
