May 1, 20251 yr For those with the iFly MAX, make sure you rescan your airport maps after you install this one. Edited May 1, 20251 yr by B777ER Eric
May 1, 20251 yr I picked up this scenery last night. As a Seattle native I like to keep my SeaTac as current as possible. This morning I did a quick flight from the new PDX to SEA this morning and the new Scenery is definitely a lot more detailed. Most of it is interior details and a lot more small details on the exterior. Building textures seem to be a higher fidelity as well. Scale of the buildings also seems superior over the BMW version. Performance seems pretty solid and at least comparable to the BMW version. For a long time the BMW version had performance issues which has been somewhat fixed but still had performance issues. The new scenery is not perfect but you also get a lot more detail. Things actually ran pretty smoothly on my system with the new scenery. A few minor nit picks with the new scenery. Some of the trees around the airport seem to be overdone and they were not overdone on the BMW version. On the new scenery I can see the Light Rail tracks but I never spotted the train going by like in the BMW version. Maybe its there and I just missed it but the few minutes I waited for it I never did see the train go by. Overall its definitely a step up from the BMW version and with this being version 1.0 its likely it will be improved even more in future versions. Considering the state of BMW I doubt we will ever hear anything from them again so the newer version is definitely the one to buy!
May 1, 20251 yr I forgot to mention that the BMW version is missing a fair number of jetways at least on my setup. The MK Studios version pretty much has all of them that I can see so far.
May 1, 20251 yr Even the FeelThere KSEA isn't as nice as MK's-well worth the €17,99 and thankfully never bought BMW/AmSim/Glidescope Pro's KSEA. May 2, 20251 yr This morning I am doing a quick flight from SEA to GEG and I spotted the light rail train go by as I was pushing back from the gate. So the light rail train is in fact there! Must of just missed it when I flew in yesterday!
May 2, 20251 yr I'm not sure which side is responsible for the holdup, but it seems its taking quite a while before things make it to the in-sim marketplace. I prefer to buy things there for various reasons, including ease of purchasing/downloading, no 3rd party apps, no passwords etc. but things get harder if we're forced to wait forever for things to become available..... EDIT: In MSFS2024, Are we even really downloading the full planes and scenery, or just some core files and the right to stream the rest? Edited May 2, 20251 yr by HiFlyer We are all connected..... Back when MSFS was first announced I was really excited for the marketplace to help keep everything centralized. Unfortunately I am still using STKP or Volanta to remember what airports I have and a folder with all my activation codes etc. Even for BMWorld Seattle It took me a few moments to actually remember where I purchased it from so I could uninstall it properly. I knew it wasn't Inibuilds so First I opened Contrail then tried Orbx and found it but it really shouldn't be this way in 2025.

Hey I was looking all over the place for a download link for my Seattle landmarks, which I swore I purchased from Orbx, but could find no record of there. Weeks passed, and completely at random while checking something else I found it listed in my purchases/downloads in a store I had completely forgotten about. Thank goodness for password manager.
