AMD Ryzen 5600x, 32GB RAM, GPU Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB, 1 TB and 500 GB nvme2 SSD drives, HP 27" 60Hz LED monitor @ 1920x1080, T16000, Hotas from old X52 Pro, Saitek Combat Rudder Pro (2010 model)

I remember back in the day when people ask how QPAC (somewhat predecessor to Toliss) is sure it's FBW systems are accurate and they replied: we provide it to Airbus.

Not sure how involved Airbus was in ToLiss' products from the start (like somewhat enforcing accuracy for permission to use name and branding), but having the manufacturer itself as an official, commercial customer sure is the most important award a flightsim add-on developer can get.

While I rarely fly their A321 these days, their lineup is just about the pinnacle of payware quality, especially in the "FPS vs systems complexity" department.

Not many devs get to see both sides of the "licensing" coin. Not publicly acknowledged at least.

Friendly reminder: WHITELIST AVSIM IN YOUR AD-BLOCKER. Especially if you're on a modern CPU that can run a flight simulator well. These web servers aren't free...

Like I needed the confirmation why Toliss A319 is my favorite addon. I felt immersion of systems, behavior, manual flight & FBW, taxing, etc etc, right from the start. In VR I really feel like I'm flying a real thing (no exaggeration), and when combined with KOSP sound package, it's incredible. Sometimes when I have a bit of time, I put my VR headset on (or sometimes even in 2D), and play with systems while sitting on the gate, listening to sounds, play with MCDU, etc etc. It's literally my favorite toy.

What's particularly interesting to me is that some RW airbus pilots say they prefer the flight feel/FBW in Fenix. What do the say now? I still can't feel proper FBW behavior and inertia in Fenix, and that can kill a lot of immersion for me. It doesn't feel like a real machine like Toliss does.

Anyways, this is just another confirmation that, even though I'm not a real pilot, my perception what's real and what isn't, is great. I even stopped believing RW pilots on YT so much - if I don't like flying the addon, it doesn't matter what do they preach.

And that part is a bit concerning to me as a soundpack developer. I should believe what RW pilots say regarding sounds, but they can't decide which addon flies more realistically, let alone how the aircraft sounds. During the flight, they are completely focused on another things (flying, procedures, etc etc), and sometimes even using noise canceling headphones. You try to cancel something that I'm trying to replicate. No bueno. 🙂

I am very skeptical about some of them. I have seen the V1-comparison video. He has been highly biased in favour of MSFS (because he has many followers and gets MSFS-gifts as give-away‘s) since a few years. He also made many contradicting comments in the past and tends to have given the title „best addon every made for any sim“ to at least 4-5 different addons aleady lol. He also behave sometimes a bit immature and/or makes some toxic comments and often seems to care only about the noise of his engines. And A330Driver on the other side is strongly involved in MSFS as a PMDG-tester too and won’t even test the best A330 on the market (Toliss) because of….textures 😂

Tbh I have way more respect for BB711 who is pretty unbiased and seems to be the only one who doesn‘t care about which sim it is and is not afraid to make honest critics. He seems to agree with the fact that the Toliss has the best flight-behaviour. Anyway, great reward for Toliss to see Airbus‘ comitment.

HUGE kudos to Toliss!

I would LOVE to know the details, but seems that's not likely, at least for now.

I think those two couple in ToLiss works for an Airbus engine supplier in Canada.  There was a lengthy article or video where they discussed how it all got started.  Big congratulations.
