I saw the dev livestream for 5 mins and couldn’t believe how disorganized it was. They hadn’t set the plane up at all and seemed a bit unsure of what they had / hadn’t done. This sunk their credibility immediately with me. How on earth do you have such a poorly organized and scattered FIRST REVEAL to the public like this?? Was there no thought to the importance of the initial impression? And I’m not referring here to issues with the plane or WIP which is to be expected as they are not releasing yet. But omg that really seemed like totally inadequate prep for this and if these are the same minds who thought that was a good way to show off their product who will also be delivering it, I’d say the house ain’t in order. Yikes man. (And it is one of my favorite aircraft of all time so was quite looking forward to it)

I thought it is about to be actually released today? Hence I asked about some feedback though as mentioned I am not so much into classics but interested in any new developer in the market. From what all of you say it may be a bit early to call them the new rising star but nonetheless I wish CSS all good and success for the benefit of our hobby

I think Fenix set the bar quite high for new developers, let’s remember the showcases they done were jaw dropping and when released they really delivered… in terms of pricing and quality.

We definitely don’t need another airbus but would love to have these classics at the same level.

So what I gathered so far from scanning through forums and streams (correct me if I'm wrong):

- Abhorrent external model
- Lacking interior textures
- Engine sounds are basically absent

- Severe Bugs in LNAV (and also VNAV I think?)
- Problems with the autothrottle

- Disorganized and unprofessional devs

All of that for only 120 dollars.

Well, for sure not for me but as Keith mentioned above, I really they intend to offer it as one of (if not THE) rental offerings on MP. So for 5 Bucks…

That's actually the first positive thing I hear about that product. It also kind of rectifies the unprofessional impression they gave on that "stream". Let's hope it improves

Watching a german stream that compared the same situation in the CSS 737 with the PMDG 777 and it turned out the CSS 737 had less than *half* of the FPS.

You have a very bad memory Fenix v1 was a very ‘normal’ add-on far away from Toliss or FSLabs. What Fenix has done well and what I think makes them great is to persevere to have one of the best Airbus along with Toliss and FSlabs today.

My memory is quite good, Fenix on release wasn’t perfect but it definitely was solid in comparison to the releases we have been seeing recently. In terms of systems, modelling, pricing and textures it was excellent. 
 

It had a few issues but they were ironed out quite quickly. It was a new developer at the time and they came out of nowhere like CSS.Only difference is they weren’t arrogant, they listened to feedback and became better.
 

So thank you for the attempt of a personal attack, but maybe it’s you with the cognitive issues.

I would put the CSS release candidate more in-line with the FSS E-Jets. Both were overpromised and underdelivered, which is a big no-no in product development.

There's something to be said for products that just present themselves as they are, even if they're lacking. This should be tagged EA and priced appropriately IMO.
