You have a very bad memory Fenix v1 was a very ‘normal’ add-on far away from Toliss

What are you talking about.

I was there, at Toliss A319 1.0 launch.

It was half baked, sounds and artwork was freeware quality.

in my mind, Fenix v1.0 was by far a more well rounded package through and through.

Exactly.

What's MOST telling to me is the selection of streamers who are highlighting this bird.

AFAICT, not a single one of the IRL ATPs who I look to for perspective.

OK chaps, let's not be having a go at each other I didn't start this thread for that reason. I still think the Toliss sounds and artwork are sub-freeware quality, but that's irrelevant.

I was genuinely interested in this 737 but clearly see that this is not a viable project. Shame,

You can ignore any user you wish....he constantly attacks MSFS products in favor of XP.  I don't think he's even a pilot irl.  I am one and both MSFS and XP have some very good flight models depending on the developer of course.

Man the discord for this project is a hell of a ride.

You hear so much about toxicity in gaming – death threats, vile comments, trolling, hysteric vitriol.

Surely you'd think flight sim being a smaller, more mature subset of that world would be immune.
Except christ, people lost their minds. And mind you - people who haven't paid a cent to the dev were just straight up toxic, acting like they got personally scammed. Someone kept posting porn in every channel.

Whatever you may think about the quality of the add-on, the devs, whatever – you get a glimpse at the dark side of engaging with community. If this is what you have to deal with as a developer in 2025 I just don't see how anyone would bother.

That is very sad to hear. People should at least give these developers a chance to fix the bugs and issues that have been identified.

No-one is stopping them from fixing the issues - the devs alone chose the release date, but when they're making claims about the depth of the modelling and charging $120 they can also expect the product to to judged in the light of those claims and that price.

And that's completely fair .. However, the torches and pitchforks should be left at home. Feedback can be given verbally and non verbally without being toxic.

Yes absolutely. Haven’t seen the discord but that sounds way out of bounds. World of difference between legit criticism without harassment or threats. Crazy times.

There’s people who blatantly slander the devs then say they’ll pirate it anyway and just leave. Just genuinely childish and even sad behaviour.

Adult-like behaviour was far and wide on Saturday and Sunday.

Exactamente.

Huelo a un troll de Xplane inclinándose ante sus sobrecargas de Laminar y Toliss.

No, many of us were unable to fly Fenix for months, not all of us had integrated GPUs on the motherboard, apart from many other things. It is not fair to compare this with current Fenix if with v1 just like it was not fair to compare Fenix with FSlabs in v1.

Let's give these developers some time and see what they offer and whether it is good or not.

So your gripe with the Fenix was that you didn’t update your computer in the last 20 years and that its performance wasn’t good?

Sorry I don’t understand your logic at all. It’s very FAIR to compare new releases addons that’s what we’ve been talking about.

No one is comparing the current version of anything, we clearly did say WHEN THE FENIX WAS RELEASED. Which means the first version that came out. And other than some system issues, flaring and ground effect issues, it was a great looking, solid and fairly priced product.

And please don’t forget one other thing that we are comparing, NEW DEVELOPERS which Fenix was when they released the 320. I’m not even going to get into FSlabs they don’t have it anymore, couldn’t care less about them.

Hace 17 minutos, rick celik dijo:

Lol And you deduct all that nonsense you're saying from my rig because I don't want to spend money on an integrated GPU I'm never going to use? Do you even know what I'm talking about?

Well, I'll let you continue playing deductions with this addon, it's not out yet and you're already judging it.
