Issue :  2 MSFS 2024 pc’s

- main pc : 13 min loading time

- client pc : 1 min loading time

Any advice ? Delete useropt.cfg file perhaps ? Or another tip ?

Thanks in advance

Update :

Starting with a new useropt.cfg file did the trick

After afding NV Freestyle filters the client pc had the same issue. Again a new useropt.cfg file solved it.

Does this mean that 3rd party sound developers can do now do sound packs for default 2024 aircraft?

Will downloading things have any impact on the low level stutterfest on short finals and while taxying?  I simply do not get that on 2020 using more rigorous settings.

By 2026, 2024 should be working as well as 2020.  Progress?  Only In "Asobo world"

I guess for me i have never been fully onboard with the 100% streaming aspect of 2024

Don't take this the wrong way, but, I don't know where that 100% streaming thing is coming from.  2024 never was 100% streaming.  Almost all of my 2024 add-ons have been locally stored since Day 1.

Do you use only default aircraft?  Or all Marketplace add-ons?  Then I can see it being a big deal.

Not sure what your trying to argue here. The only item locally stored on my system for MSFS2024 before today was my A2a comanche.

Everything else was streamed and i could clearly verify that because EVERYTHING loaded in blurry....

I do not want to have stuff streamed into whatever cache file only to be overwritten or deleted  at some point down the road.

I want most of my repeatable assets sitting permanently on my hard drive a la MSFS2020.

Benefits to this:

Core assets load remarkably faster... less usage of processes to present the data to your screen. Its no longer (highly simplified for illustration) .....(Call data from Server (.. a variable)  transmit through Internet (another variable) ,Write to cache file,  read to GPU then send to display) Its now (Call from data from NVME ... process and send to GPU send to display)

People who have already done this, myself included, have noticed a remarkable improvement in stutter reduction and assets loading crisply and correctly.. Which was my aim and why i did not appreciate the mostly streaming method proposed in the first place. This is all about removing as many variables as possible in terms of data processing which is crucial to overall sim performance.

You can observe the feedback in the link below for reference.

I keep saying those who dont have the space or prefer the 30gb install or dont want to wait with the long start up times for assets to load like msfs2020 presently does.. no problem .. please do you. But for me .. I cannot stand stutters and i want to make absolutely sure that variables are kept to the absolute minimum and i am willing to deal with downloading (presently) 500gb worth of files and put up with a MSFS 2020 style of  startup wait to achieve this because once loaded up and started in the cockpit i am now getting that fluid and solid MSFS2020 feel with a massive reduction of stutters. But of course .. this is my own experience and i am not making any recommendations on what people should do.

Not arguing anything. Just wondering how this idea that MSFS2024 is 100% streaming came to light.
