A350 v1.0.11 Released

Featured Replies

This update has actually lead to a performance regression. Back to the no cabin version unfortunately. Tings were going in a good direction performance wise for a while there.

I've only ever used the no-cabin version because I don't see the point of having one. Performance I'm not sure if it's better or worse, but at cruise I'm getting 65-70 (with frame gen)

I had been sitting on the fence regarding the A350. I finally bought it a couple of days ago, installed the last update and made my first flight (LFBO - LTFM) last night in MSFS 2020. No issues at all, at this point, I'm very pleased with the product.

Just landed FAOR-KATL in 2024 SU2, no issues

Everytime there is an update the WASM files need to be recompiled. That takes up to 20 minutes.

Thanks mate. All good now 🙂

I found that the iniBuilds A350 put my system more on stress than the Fenix A320 or the PMDG 777. I even received a warning message on the limit of usage of my GPU. Fortunately I achieve to stay above 30 fps.

I got this warning twice when departing Edinburgh this morning, though oddly not on the other end of my flight at Doha.  Having said that, the flight was uneventful and the FPS performance was great throughout.

I've not completed an entire flight yet, so thank you for your info. I intended indeed to change nothing despite of the message, and see what happens.

👉 Thanks to all mates who shared their infos and views, and helped me decide.

Overall I'm satisfied by my purchase. I did a quick european flight LFPO-LICJ and had no particular issue. The fps are a bit lower than the Fenix A320 and PMDG 777 but not noticeable without watching at the numbers, and the display is fluid. The term 'glass cockpit' was created in the 80s I believe with the advent of the 747. In the A350 the surface occupied by the glass is impressive. I'm only at the beginning but there are many interesting features, such as the possibility to create (not only import) a Simbrief plan from within the cockpit. I'm amazed to see how a team (iniBuilds) who started only a couple of years ago by making livery paints and profiles achieved to reach a stage where they can build a such complex aircraft. Of course it is not perfect but I imagine that in the end, it's going to be a classic.

iniBuilds advertises 'LIDO Charts'. As I understand it's 'only' SIDs/STARs, not enroute maps, not the airports charts. Correct?

Another great update.  Aircraft works really well for me in MSFS2024.  Smooth as silk.

Changelog was quite lengthy for this update and great to see the dev continuing to update on a regular basis.

Just my 2 cents - overall I am happy with the product, how it flies, and how most things behave. I have finished a 10+ hour flight from LFBO to VHHH without major issues or crashes. Also I am one of the lucky ones where I haven't really had systems frozen or WASM crashes for some time now.

However there are minor things where if you are well versed with Airbus aircrafts, and know of finer details then there are bits where it does kill the immersion, especially since this is now the 11th update since release.

The other issue I find with these updates, while great at introducing new functions or features, is that more often than not, there were functioning systems in the previous versions of the plane are now broken. For example the TO Config Test should not require cabin ready to be done, was fine up to 1.0.8 I believe, has been broken since 1.0.9/10 and still remains the same. Furthermore on this update things like LDG INHIBIT message do not clear once plane is on the ground, took for the plane to be at the gate with engines off for it to go away.

I will still fly it, but it feels like there are sand in the eye - not enough to kill, but definitely enough to annoy.

Hope it will improve as the team is working hard.

I doubt, because I just switched from Intel 13600K to a Ryzen 9800X3D. While the loading times are considerably faster with the AMD, the absolute FPS are comparably bad when finally loaded into the sim and compared to the 772.

I've a 9800x3d and a 4070ti using ms2020 and the frames are horrendous.

Mention it in the forum and you get a ban.

I despise this dev. Pure amateurs

I'm running an older 7800x3D CPU with a 4070TiSuper at 4K in 2024 SU2, locked to 30fps native, FG at 60 fps (using AutoFPS) and I'm getting smooth performance (no cabin version).

Exactly right 😉.

Good long flight to test functions and the said updates…

Regarding performance - my specs are in the signature, I don’t have an issue with it. Pretty smooth with 2x frame gen on the 4090
