It has not been an issue for me until this weekend.

I don’t have missing textures in default EHAM.
There are also no red fields...
But I did get a pyramid 😁

There was an update this morning so might have fixed the voice issues.

Different beast I know but AIG traffic injector is woking fine so far. I’m lucky that the update has worked well for me from what I see early on. Only blip I had was taxiing at addon airport, and when I got really close to a small parking lot it suddenly filled up with cars. It was always full before I got there previously. Still undecided on the LOD issue. I just hope they don’t degrade 2020 to the point that it becomes like 2024.

I was also thinking about switching back to pure AIG traffic. However, Beyond ATC doesn't interact with the traffic - I think only the FS HUD does that - and RAM consumption of AIG traffic controller is extremely high. Therefore, I'd rather do without it.

So apparently the missing texture files at EHAM aren't missing texture files at all - it's a missing line in a config file.  See: https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/pink-textures-so-far-eham-only-default-asobo-scenery/729894/26 .  Pretty easy fix - or just use the file from flightsim.to as above and copy it in.

Edit:  Verified the missing line in the .cfg file, added it.  Instant "pink-be-gone"!  (In other words, it worked.)

Anyone else getting a ctd on load today?

Is it a server issue perhaps?

 

It worked fine now as of today its not .

I had flight a few hours ago with no problems.

What's absolutely infuriating for me is the fact that Asobo/Microsoft absolutely refuse to comment on the downgrading of the ground imagery in SU16. For example, The Caribbean update in FS2020 was a whole waste of time for whoever worked on it in Asobo, apart from the horrible tile LOD so many buildings and POI's no longer align with the "new" ground imagery; it looks terrible. I would just like some guidance from Asobo/Microsoft on whether or not this is permanent and if I should begin removing a sim that is now a shadow of it's former self.

Well just updated to latest nvidia driver thou i do load into sim with dx11 and TAA enabled for first time .

 

Once exiting from sim and restarting sim i get ctd about 3/4 of the way.

So are they pushing us to use dx12???.

Or this will be addressed by asobo?

there are zillions of issues awaiting ms/asobo’s care, especially after the latest half-baked downgrade. i’m not sure such secondary stuff will get their attention to get fixed any time soon or ever.

Well they should have gave us option to update or roll back
