MSFS official forums is absurd !

True, but if you know the person you want to address with your question, you can do it directly and most of the time, the question doesnt get lost like that. I like the new dynamics discord introduced in our way to discuss flightsim topics and chat with people, it is a much more direct interaction than forums.

  • There is another cult called PMDG.

  • To be honest the MSFS forums a bit of an echo chamber for negativity at the moment. Admittedly that isn't difficult given the state of the sim for a lot of people but you have to be careful to not let

  • It's their own forum though - they can do what they like. I don't think it's that dramatic.  Sometimes threads just get moved or merged into a duplicate topic.  And people think they're deleted.

This is where the true state of the sim is revealed, the good and bad.

That is where quite few devs go and vent their inability to work around ever existing limitations of flight simulation development; rather than find work a round for it; let's go to Misobo and have a little cry. It should be called the Devs moaning support forum.

That link gives me a small glimpse of the headaches that developers must have to contend with on a daily basis when switching development from one simulator to another. You all have my deepest admiration for pushing through these problems, and sorting them out!

Then I retract what I said if that’s the case with my apologies. I thought there was issues surrounding that project that led to a parting of ways.

It may have actually been the inverse, from what could be inferred from the public statements and timing.

further, let’s not forget that Aerosoft accepted half a million in government funding for the A330. One would think the execs would’ve practiced better oversight & control.

Try to @ the staff and see how the Discord police kids jumping on you 😂

I sometime feel like some of them keeping the chat open just to monitor people for fun.

To be honest I have no problem with the official MSFS forums and even more honest I don't frequent there much either. Its there sand so deal with it or move on.
