Best EU/UK airport sceneries?

Featured Replies

I’ve been picking up a few and would like to hear from the community about the best ones.
I have Ini EGLL and MK EIDW, like them both.

which others are this high quality and well optimized? Only looking for EU and UK, focusing on here for now.

Thanks for any opinions.

9800X3d, 4090, 64 GB DDR5 6000 RAM, 4 TB NVME (2x2), 4K Ultra + Framegen

Anything by Pyreegue will suit the bill Jonathan

Aerosoft‘s Brussels EBBR is outstanding.

i9-11900K, RTX 4090, 32 GB ram, Honeycomb Alpha and Bravo, TCA Airbus sidestick and quadrant, Reverb G2

+1 for anything by Pyreegue.  In the UK, Anything by UK2000 is decent and for smaller airfields, stuff by Burningblue is very good too.

Gatwick & Shoreham by MKVY are free and both of payware quality and of course, whilst looking at freeware, Chicomicks Duxford is a masterpiece.

Their Edinburgh EGPH is an absolute pig for performance for me in 2024.  It's a 2929 port so not optimised for 2024 LOD system, and given I run at OLOD 600 to minimise LOB object suppression, my FPS at this airport nosedives.

That said, it's beautifully detailed, but I'm.only buying native 2024 airport sceneries from now on.

Kevin Firth - AMD 9800X3D; Asus Prime X670E; 64Gb Cas30 6000 DDR5; RTX5090; AutoFPS

It runs respectably well for me in MSFS 2020 on my pocket calculator, Kevin

Is there another Southend while we wait forever for Pilot Plus to update theirs for 2024?

 9950X3D - X870E Aorus Master- TUF 5090 OC - 64GB DDR5 - 1500W HXi - Titan 360 RX LCD - 9100 Pro x 2  - LG 45GX950A - HOTAS Warthog with Ava Base

I doubt that PilotPlus will be updating anything. They vanished from the flight simulation map two years ago. To be honest, I just want to get rid of the static airliners, and see AI planes operating there (I have seen literally NONE to date).

Yep, no problems there, its designed for that platform and LOD system.  It is 2024 compatible, and I can get its performance 'ok' if I really drop my OLOD down, but it would be much more preferable to have a properly optimised 2024 version.  I doubt it will happen, so I will simply not purchase any more sceneries (from any developer) unless they are truly 2024 native versions.

So on track with the thread, can anyone recommend any good 2024 native EU/UK airport sceneries specifically please?

I have Biggin Hill and Bristol both working well in 2024 via Orbx. Southend seems to have been forgotten about.

Can I just ask where you purchased PilotPlus EGMC Southend? If it was not the MS Marketplace, do you have the option to remove the static airliners? In addition, are you seeing AI planes at the airport?
